Those Monty Python movies. I don't get why they're considered so funny LOL!
Posted by Pulcieeclark gable died after that film.
That clip with the horse you posted upset me so I couldn't watch it, animal cruelty laws were more lax then obviously lol

The godfather. I actually take pride in the movies I love and really really wanted to like this one, but I couldnt pay attention. Every time marlon Brand(or whatever is name is) started talking I'd zone out. Wtf is that guy even saying? Maybe I'd like it better with subtitles but it was a dvr recording so I didn't know how to put them on 😢 the gore and violence got my attention though, lol

Posted by hydorahheeeey i did go check Adam Beach's chart too. Very cool.
The trailer is well done but:
-"bioengineered nazi supersoldiers kept frozen under the arctic"
-dominic purcell, adam beach
-a scenario that sounds like the whole movie is already in the trailer
all this smells of B-movie, the type of thing I'd expect to watch on syfy channel.

Posted by DwellingOnMoveLol, it's confusing by design.
I did not get the "eXistenZ" with Jude Law to 100% . Maybe because of increasing CaCO2 in my body.
At some point I thought it could be an alternative model to the matrix. Then I failed to have a whole projection of the movie. I cannot give a summary of it.
I've seen it twice. Each time by interruptions. Then I read the wiki article about it and later I forgot it too. Maybe it is slow paced. IDK.

It's like the matrix, if the matrix didn't suck.click to expand
anks for that! i should've re-checked closely. i saw indian reserve, but didnt look further, was so shocked at the tragedy of what happened to his family. 😢
Posted by hydorahNever heard of "existenz" . I dont think i will even bother if you all couldn't even figure it out 😕Posted by DwellingOnMoveLol, it's confusing by design.

Rest of it is a recount of what would have happened the following days (week? month? i can't remember) if he survived and what effect it would have had on the lives of people around him. It could possibly be a fantasy scenario/wishful thinking that flashes through his mind the moment he dies. You prolly had those a lot in your ugly duckling van-cruising days? And the whole time travelling thing which basically serves as diversion from the now seemingly simple plot.... yeap all a part of the same fantasy.
Haven't seen it in nearly a decade so it's just from memory. I could be way off.

tree of life!

Posted by AndsAcquisitionsSometimes you must accept that there can be more than one interpretation to a story. Donnie Darko managed to evoque several interpretations and kept them all relevant.Posted by hydorahi didn't understand it.
donnie darko is a good film but it was ruined by its' own success. At one point during the 00s it was annoying with all the emo kids praising it like their emo manifest or sthg.
Then with time, it got forgotten and it became watchable again.
Hollywood wil probably want to make a remake one of these days lolclick to expand

There is no movie that I don't get. In fact I would go so far as to say that if I don't get a movie it's that there is really nothing to it because I generally get everything a movie is trying to convey most of the time. 🥱
For this reason I really hate boring pretentious movies that are trying to be philosophical with very few intersting ideas or emotions to actually convey, stuff such as the Matrix, the fountain, mr nobody, cloud atlas, etc....
I can't stand thesse movies

"Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas"
"Moulon Rouge"
"Rocky Horror Picture Show"
"Milk"
Basically, if it's made by queers and for queers, then I will probably never have a prayer in hell of understanding it, let alone have an interest in watching it.

Posted by femmeWow, I was about to post the title of the movie when I read your post. Weird coincidence.
Mulholland Drive with Naomi Watts
