loved it. i loved how it changed her character from the Original Disney films. it also made me tear it, it was so awesome. Although Dakota fanning seemed so lackluster because she was Always happy and smiling so much. I know Princess Aurora is supposed to be so sweet and likable but gosh it didnt seem very natural. I liked Dakota fanning in the film, Joan Jett "the runaways" better. Much better for her.

Can us haters join this topic too?

I absolutely hated it. I liked the disney classic way better and now the awesomeness that was that villain got toally ruined by the idiotic angelina jolie.

Her acting was atrocious, the screenwriters produced a turd of a script, it was boring and long and boring.

Only liked the bright colors.

So bad acting, much disappointment.

That guy who was the crow totally went for a edward cullen vibe to his character.

So glad I didn't go to the cinema for this.

really? I LOVED it. i was so sad for her.

i do love the Disney classic though. but this took on a different route which i'm pleasantly surprised. It focused on her, and yes we were shocked at the gauntness of her look. but thats how she's drawn in the Original cartoon.

at least the edward cullen guy didnt pair up with anyone although it was IMPLIED that he would get with Maleficient. πŸ˜„ πŸ˜„

fanfictions are gonna be on their way with this. *smh*

Agreed. Dakota Fanning acted like she was high the whole time.

my dad got me this purple dinosaur one summer and i remember we went to a movie and i was also hiding it and placing my palms on his eyes when i thought something on the screen was disturbing for the dinosaur to watch.

My girls and I LOVE this movie!! I watched it 3x before I let my little girls watch it. I didn't know if they would get scared or not. Once, they watched it it was love for them, too. We actually watched it again this week. πŸ™‚

I've watched this on dvd so many times now. (and again last night). Its become one of my favourites. Sleeping Beauty with a twist of how it really happened.

True love and its kiss doesn't always have to come from the partner. It can be from your Mother, sister, brother, god mother πŸ™‚

+1

plus, realistically how it's portrayed (although still fantasy) she (malificent) was the one who spent time and knew little Aurora since birth. Not her father, not the prince who just came along one day and he's supposed to be the true love kiss. Ok ok, so my thinking is that people do fall in love at first sight, like a connection and they knew they'd be together forever. but in this case, she loved little rory deeply and her heart grew warm again, after being so cold for so long.

sigh. it's so beautiful. πŸ˜„
