Posted by hydorahWould you say the same about say "Dead Man Walking"?
Is that serious?
I avoided this movie because I don't like being subected to patronizing political shit.
Is it really that interesting ?

Yes it's intresting.. unless you're a self-proclaimed liberal and figured that makes you untouchable

I wouldn't classify myself on the political spectrum, but I just assumed this movie had a simplistic message about racism and it can be annoying to watch.click to expand

Posted by julietteeIf you think I'm so damn smart and 'see the essence', usually.. you don't think that maybe, just maybe, there could be some validity to what I'm saying or trying to get across even when you don't think you agree..semantically?
how come you are sometimes so smart, and see the essence, and then make these ridiculous threads? i get it was trolling. or i didn't get. i'm seriously confused. don't have to explain me, and i doubt you would but... anyway... get out is awesome.

Dis slowly creeping to the top as one of my fave indie horror experiences since It Follows (2014). It's witty, it's funny and despite being a comical horror movie it's eerier than most contemprorary horror films. Liberal racism meets Stepford Wives.
The only objection is the conclusion which I find sort of tears down the very foundation of the premise and undermines the political aspect of the film. It also pleads guilty to the one unforgivable sin of horror movies - it overexplains when no further explanation is necesserily needed. Still, this film is already iconic and I predict a cult following.
