I just saw King Kong today and it was awesome!!! If you didn't know who the director of Lord of the Rings was, I think you would be able to figure out it was him that directed King Kong also because many of the effects seen in Rings is in this movie- but man, whoa, there are some darrrrkk scences in it, maybe too dark for younger eyes, but it was very detailed and very emotional very just everything, lol.
I think it was you Elliot who said that only a Scorp could capture darkness in a film like in Lord of the Rings and now King Kong, well I would have to agree, lol. This director, which I didn't know squat about before Lord of the Rings, ranks up there with Speilberg and I ranked him (Speilberg) as the best for the longest time-I think Speilberg has met his match.
Ok there's my Ebert and Ropert's make-shift movie review of what I thought. I was thoroughly pleased (Finally!!!) and felt this movie deserved my $ 6.00-
Oh here's my only beef- They STILL had to kill the brother off first!!!! LOL
