obiwan Vs darth maul could have been great, but it was ruined by more twirling and a very disappointing conclusion

yeah but it was the first one, give them a break.

Also it's explained by the fact that there are no more jedis or siths left, so they've not been training for decades so that's why the level is a lot less competitive than in the prequels.

this amateur short movie was released in 2001, shortly after the phantom menace and at the time I found it pretty good, especially compared to all the shit in phantome menace lol
