What do you guys think of my singing voice?

Hey guys! So I love singing and have always done it, but I'm very shy and closed up with it. Recently I met a group of friends who do music, and I feel like it would be a good opportunity to speak up. I would just like random opinions on what you think of this little verse that I think. Its from the Marques houston naked song, I love his voice when he sings it so wanted to give it a shot! I recorded it off the voice recorder on my phone, so I know if I were to record it on the mic and clean it up it would sound much better. Please don't be bitter, because your opinions do matter.
