A question about numerology and soulmates?

Hi I have a few questions because I am new to numerology so I think I have a life path number 5 because that's what I get from my birth date 18 05 1998 but my friend she is an hindu and follows numerology and told me my lifepath was 9 because I'm born on the 18th and that 5 is my second lifepath number that according to her scriptures they believe that the 5 in my numerology chart is applied to the second part of my life when I'm older and married or doing something else and I wanted to ask if you guys agree on that?

is my lifepath number 9 and my karmic number 5? im a bit confused

also I believe I've met one of my soulmates and I just feel a special connection to this person and I feel like there are so many coincidences that happend when I'm with him and this person has the life path number 5 and his second lifepath number is 9 so my friend told me that thats a good thing and she thinks that we could be soulmates because my life path numbers are 9 and 5 and his are 5 and 9, do yoy guys think that could mean something?
