Here is an interview he did once he got out.
Michael Vick's financial situation now http://www.celebritynetworth.com/articles/how-much-does/michael-vick-verge-pulling-off-financial-victory-no-one-predicted/
I know he is a Cancer. He is so genuine and obviously shameful for not telling his friends to stop his "operation". This video made me emotional I feel his feelings (neptune and pluto talking).

I don't think he was "portrayed" unfairly. He was portrayed as a cold-hearted, animal abusing, dog-fighting, scum. Which is exactly what he is.
He did it to himself though. I don't blame the media for what he did to his own image by his foolish actions. Of course there are worse crimes he could have committed(like many people love to point out in his defense), but does that really matter? Is that the point? Wrong is wrong. Justifying what he did by saying "well it could be worse" is like me murdering someone and saying "well, at least I didn't slaughter a whole family!". Like, no. Murder is murder and wrong is wrong. Doesn't matter if it's one or one hundred people.

i think they treated him unfairly because he's black. They have white men taking over federal buildings with weapons and nothing, yet this guy dogfights and they ruin his life?also i don't respect him for paying off his creditors, i wouldn't have given them anything.
me neither he got lucky in that deal
Shit 18 million fuck that
ACCESS HOLLYWOOD Asked perpetual jackass Jamie Foxx about Michael Vick's dog fighting charges, and, as always, he never fails to disappoint.
"It's a cultural thing, I think," Jamie said. "Most brothers didn't know that, you know. I used to see dogs fighting in the neighborhood all the time. I didn't know that was Fed time. So, Mike probably just didn't read his handbook on what not to do as a black star." While he has a way of lightening even the most sensitive of subjects, Jamie is sincere in his belief that the quarterback is not being given a fair shake.
"I know that cruelty to animals is bad, but sometimes people shoot people and kill people and don't get time," Jamie continued. "I think in this situation, he really didn't know the extent of it, so I always give him the benefit of the doubt."
A-HA! Just as I suspected! You see, it turns out the real victim here is Michael Vick. Because he didn't even know executing dogs was bad. That's why he held the fights on his front lawn in broad daylight. Oh, wait, no, he didn't. He held the fights at night, in barns in the woods painted pitch black with no windows or outdoor lights. There's nothing suspicious about that. Like just the other day I was digging some graves in my back yard at 4 in the morning. Next thing you know some cops gotta be all up in my face. Apparently fresh dig marks really freak cops out. What is this, Russia?

He's doing too much to try to be the good guy, i never thought he was bad, just made a dumb mistake.
i hate this society, they will vilify him, but a white guy goes up and shoots up a theater and they blame it on his childhood or lack of sex appeal.
wtf.
Michael Vick is my Nig. & if i was ever gonna date a felon, it'd be him.
he's hot

Michael did grow around this in Virginia as a kid he didn't know it was bad but he had no excuse to execute them etc. However Horses get shot after races if they can't run anymore so...
Mass farming treats pigs chickens and cows the same way. Pigs are often times electrecuted and it's OK for that because we gotta have our sausage, bacon, and ribs right?

Whenever I see posts like this, I thank my lucky stars our justice system doesn't use a jury.
Too many people deciding on how "sensitive" and "genuine" and "innocent" people look, rather than look at facts.

I don't see how ppl can costantly hate this man for dog fighting yet go watch a brutal boxing or mma match or watch football knowing damn well how concussions affect the brain, they don't care.
Can you really not tell the huge difference between the two?

I don't agree with this AT ALL. I think he was treated the way he was treated because he killed dogs. Electrocuted, hung and drowned dogs. Let them tear each other apart.
People have more compassion for animals than they do for starving children in this country. It's just the way it is.
I have a beautiful pit bull rescue, after reading about the rehabbed Vick dogs and watching a few documentaries.
I think Michael Vick is a scumbag. The same thing would have happened had he been white, or hispanic. People have no tolerance for dog killers. Look at the guy who killed poor Puppy Doe in Massachucetts; people want him publicly hung. I only hope Vick teaches his children to respect and appreciate animals. He had violated the court order by getting a dog when he was instructed not to own one. He said his children begged him for it. Really? Too bad, so sad. Maybe shouldn't have killed all ones you had already had.
A dog is the only creature on earth that loves their master more than they love themselves. We owe them some compassion.

He is obviously guilty. I'm not justifying what he did. I'm just saying he is remorseful. I believe he is remorseful. Just because you do something really bad doesn't mean you cannot have genuine remorse. He did every thing right afterward. He gave speeches to help kids not do what he did. He paid his debt. He has a clean record from what we know afterward. He let let his friends and environment growing up influence him. None of that justify his actions but that is what happened. He used poor judgment. Now all is better.

Media portrayed Michael more as a monster. My interpretation is different and my opinion is not based off this video alone. He has consistently showed remorse for his poor judgment.

Yeah, I believe so. That was all such bullshit, I'm sorry. Was it right - no, but it was just a few GD dogs and they ruined his life.
Ik and they shoot horses and shit when they can't perform but that is legal from what I know.
The only reason he stopped killing dogs is because he got caught. I really despise the attitude that alot of black people have about black man. They are never held accountable for their actions. Its always some sort of racist ploy to hurt them. Before a black man is black he is a human being. He has a conscience, a soul, a spirit, and a moral compass. While culture can be attributed to his decision to do these things, I don't think it's fair to blame.
What Michael Vick did was a decision of his own. THIS PARTICULAR INCIDENT has barely anything to do with race. He is simply being held accountable for his decision. I feel like putting black men on a pedestal has greatly hurt the black community. When things happen to black men people get angry about it and protest. However, on the flip side, there are unprecedented atrocities happening to black women everyday . No one protests, no one gets upset . That's telling you something. Black men are a privileged group.
With that said I think it's important to stay grounded and the reality that black men are capable of wrongdoing and there's absolutely nothing wrong with holding black men accountable for them. What Michael Vick did was a conscious well-thought out ,organized, personal decision to inflict pain and suffering upon innocent animals.
Animals or voiceless creatures that cannot defend themselves against human beings. While human beings are animals we are more intelligent than other types of animals. One of the many things that differentiate us from animals is our conscious and awareness. What Michael Vick did deserves an eternity of shame and judgment.
FUCK HIM.
Also I think that picking one evil over the other is incredibly dismissive and insensitive. Two wrongs can't make a right. They are both wrong and should be held to the same standard with the same regard.
