Mother, healer, poet, student. deep feeling, kind, intuitive and empathic, loving, free spirit, someone who has survived great loss and still stands. Lover of children, animals, nature, the ocean, music, dancing and long hair. Wicked sense of humour…laughter is a big part of my life. calm and chilled.

I'm on a strange path in life. The most tragic thing I could ever imagined happened in my life today. Like it's crazy how life can show you things that make you think you could have done more to stop something like that from happening. Things that involve lives being taken and suicide. Like if I would have just answered that call, or actually tried to hang out, or just reached out to check up on them things would have been different. Yet sometimes we don't, life is forever changed, and the most we can do at that point is just move forward. Maybe life makes the most unfathomable situation you ever thought possible just to force people to see what we actually have, and how lucky some of us are to have anything at all. I'm not trying to be a downer, I just need to vent a bit. I feel life is forcing me to witness the chaos and turmoil I could have potentially stopped if I wasn't trapped in my own thoughts and life style so much. So many lives in my personal life wouldn't be going down this path if I simply would have hung out and been there for a close friend. I still can't believe it. Hundreds of lives are being forced to live with one of the worst things they will likely ever experience, and I feel it all could have been avoided if I would have just been there for a friend.

You’re right, it’s not about uniqueness. Hm. Honestly I don’t think making a human and bringing it into the world is even near the hard part. It’s raising the human that’s definitely the hardest thing I’m sure anyone’s ever done. It’s never ending. I don’t know how humans have put up with it for hundreds of thousands of years but wow it’s exhausting mentally, emotionally and physically. Well birth control is still very new in human history so most really didn’t have a choice is my point I guess. It’s something that’s part of the natural cycle of our existence which is probably why I didn’t feel it should be part of my identity. But then I guess what else is there to possibly define us if we didn’t at least have that lol. I’m most likely thinking way too into it 😆

It’s bloody hard and pushes you to the brink of your self

It’s also a gift ~ one I’m grateful for experiencing. Wouldn’t have missed it for the world. It’s made me a much better person and taught me how to love in a way I’d never known before

….and it does get easier ❤️

Totally. Our kid didn’t sleep through till he was 11 years old and I rarely sleep through now even though he’s 25! 🥴
