i wish i had a ferret...ferrets are so cute..FERRET BE MINE!!

dude...I'm not even kidding, I was going to start a ferret thread. I've heard that they smell really awful though, and I just can't deal with that. Everything around me must smell delicious all the time. lol. jk

lol I want a genetically altered ferret. I'd spliced it with a gecco becaue they are so cute. OMG now I have a new pets topic!!!

Ferrets do smell. I am not a ferret person. Although I'll admit they're cool to watch sometimes when one is really bored and happens to be in a pet shop.

perhaps Den could put a ferret farm in the garden. We could just hang around and watch them reproduce. do they breed like rabbets. do they come in different colours.

I would imagine only a very special ferret could come in different colors... 🙂

There are certain drugs that will make the ferrit any color you want them to be...

And does it work for humans also?

why do you people have to talk shit about ferrets do any of you have any? My ferts dont stink you have to give them baths and its best to get a fixed ferret. go to some ferret websites learn some info on them before start talking shit about them!!!!

Angeldevil, Love your id its so orriginal. And about ferrets your right they are adorable. If you keep them clean they have no smell. But they can be quite inquisitive though and get themselves into the darndest things cant they. They remind me a little of racoons as far at their ability to get into trouble if left unattended to long. Its quite cute when they want to play with you though. they jump back and fourth and make a chattering noise with their teeth. If you dont know better you think they may want to bite or something, but they just want to play. There so cute.

I have 2 of the little fuzzies, and love em silly!! They can be little trouble makers, so not a pet for the faint of heart!! But their playful personalities more than make up for their musky scent (which isn't even noticeable in older descented ferrets)..

And a monthly bath, and weekly bedding cleanings get rid of major problems.. (Bathing a ferret frequently will cause scent glands to work over time to replace lost oils on the skin..)
