This is important because making decisions based on your own impartial point of view allows you to take responsibility for your own decisions. Also, by practicing your own critical thinking abilities, it allows you to LEAD your own life based on your own choices and not be lead by others.

While one of the World Trade buildings were being evacuated, a recorded message came on in the buildings calmly telling the disorganized and disoriented crowd to calmly go back to their desks way before the buildings looked like they would fall. Many of them got to the lobby area and decided to listen to the recording and went back up to their desks. In effect, they died. I've been to the World Trade Center and know how a calm voice could be comforting in a huge facility during a time of chaos. I lived in NYC for a few years, and taking the subway from the world trade center was a common occurrence.

Sometimes, I ask myself, in a situation like this, what would I do? Would I have listened to someone else telling me what to do? Or, would I listen to my own instincts?

Sometimes it is important to think and act on your own, your life could depend on it.

Erm that's not always accurate btw the IP thing, DXP have even confirmed that. God I remember years and years ago people confusing users as other users based on their IP address, caused all sorts of drama and accusations.

Well I don't know much about that to be honest, I just remember there being an issue with users sharing IP addresses before, and DXP confirming it happens that's all.

Yes, some ISPs (Internet Service Providers) like AOL recycle / reassign IP Addresses to different users quite frequently; HOWEVER, there aren't that many people posting on DXP, so the odds of any two having the same IP address at close to the same time are very very very very LOW...

Check my IP address, and you'll see I'm the only one who's been using it for MONTHS!

Some people on DXP change screen names more often than they change underwear... what are they trying to hide? Dirty Laundry?? (Yeah, I know - bad pun!)

FWIW: There are other liars & manipulators on DXP, but our Angelina has made it into an art form. Those who expose her antics, and criticize her duplicities are entitled to do so, and it does help the New DXP'ers who don't know better...
