Confusing statement

Can anyone tell me what " NOT A BREAKUP BUT NOT A CONTINUE" really mean—

If I understand correctly, it might mean, I am taking a break, see what else is out there. If nothing else comes along I will be back 😛

It's a break up. It's the whole have his cake and eat it too analogy. Just in case there is absolutely nothing out there for him after all the partying, dating and screwing other women (basically whatever it is he wants to do without guilt) and he decides none of it is worth losing you for good he'll be back thus in his mind you should wait for him.

I'd probably need to hear more about this to make an accurate guess. hehe

I just poked around your profile and past posts to find out more. It seems like it might be time to let it go for a while.

You seem to really like him, and who knows one day you may get back together when things improve for him and for you. It seems really unstable as it is right now though, and both have you at least want it to make it through rocky times (IMHO). If he's pulling away so much, its probably best to let him go and spend time doing things to make yourself happy. I'm sorry babe 😢 it will get better.
