I would say it depends on the fish and the relationship. So, the answer it's really simple, it can lean yes or no and lie in the maybe zone of things. The question is simple, but the answer is not... there are far too many factors that weigh into this. Some merfolk can see sex as just fun and somewhat not connect with a person on that level or maintain the level of "relationship" that occurred before that said act. Some can fall head over heels, I think for this to happen a foundation of trust (and many other factors) in a relationship will have to be in place for that to happen or we can become skittish and weary (if we are the second type of fish). *shrugs shoulders* I will let you in on a secret... fish can be very... hmm... what is the word pessimistic when it comes to relationships. I believe it is a way of protecting our hearts. Long story for another time.

Also, Pisces doesn't NEED to have sex with a person to have an intimate bond with them. That comes with spending a lot of time with a person, being able to communicate with words, actions and gestures. We need to be able to let our emotions flow and not feel embarrassed about releasing them or having a person think we are unhinged because our mood swings are ever changing. Some Pisces can look bi-polar to an untrained eye, but we are not... we just soak up emotions everywhere and I don't know it is hard to explain an inter-workings of a Pisces. I think you would have to be one to completely understand one.

Sorry I digressed, but the answer to your question hun is far from simple. I hope that I was able to help...somewhat.
