They (in the dental profession but specifically dentists) have one of the highest suicide rates in the nation, if I'm not mistaken or repeating outdated info.

I'd heard that, just wasn't sure. I'd say it was fairly telling. I'd think a lifetime of prodding about in a person's mouth would be rather depressing.

not when you make serious money doing it, and enjoy the job. And when they don't like the job, they just retire early, and go to Cancun and other such places.

I see you as a Vet's Asst (Small Animal Vet). That would be interesting to me. (And it's biased.. you only see women in those places, as Assistants.) What's up with that?

Weird that you say that, my mother was a vet's assistant for twelve years and recently quit. I am too sensitive about dying animals to do that job. I wouldn't be able to euthanize them, and I wouldn't handle seeing them suffer well at all. Small animals and babies: I cannot stand to see them in pain.

And yes, it's pretty female-dominated field.
