Friends

People who try to steer you in the wrong direction are NOT really your friends. True friends accept you for who you are and what you believe in. If they accept you only for what you do for them, then they'll turn on you when you stand up for your convictions.

How many friends do you REALLY have? Take a fall and then look around, who's standing beside you?

About 25% of the people I know but I already knew who was and who wasn't.But I don't think friends who don't call me on my crap are friends,thats a form of dishonesty and says they don't really care.It depends on whether or not they are willing to work with me instead of against or running away.

FRIENDS.

There are many kind of friends: Work place firends, girlfriends, bar friends, emotional support friends and so on. Which one? All of them are different.

Are they true friends or not? All depends on how do you interprete them, as friends. For example: Work place friends may be good for chatting (without letting the boss to hear or see, of course) or in saving you from large amount of work. Girlfriends are good with emotions and sex. Bar friends are good with providing good drink and listening ear. Every of them has a purporse. They are important only with their purporses.

If the main purporse changes, then what is the point of further friendship is would be? It should be questioned. This is true, because if your girlfriend is trying to become also your work place friend, then this kind of friendship is suspicious. Because when this happens, you will start to ask this question to yourself, "Why she was girlfriend in the first place?"

Everything and everyone has its own purporses, for others. Some people may have more than one purporse (like wife's or husband's purpose which is sex and children) but still a purporses.

Everything that stays aside of main purporse, should be approached with respect. Then all will be fine.

They say you can count your true friends on one hand. I think as you get older this is definately the case.

I like that BJ - you don't have many, none of us do. I think I have (not counting family) 1 true friend. I have many, man acquaintances, but only one true friend.

Oh not counting family,I gets it now.Probably only 4.
