If I am interested, I ask her out on a date and let her do most of the talking. I listen to what she has to say and how she says it, watch how she treats the wait staff and how she responds to courtesy, and then I decide if I want to ask her out again.

I give very little away at first, I prefer to listen, and most people oblige me by talking their heads off.

I have no expectations at first. I enjoy listening to people, so I always have at least an interesting time.

that seems to be what he did, which kind of clashed with me because im usually the listener, so u could imagine how silent it was at times, both waiting for the other.... it relaxed near the end, and he texted to say he had a good time, but a second date wasnt arranged.... in fact... a suggestion for a GROUP outing was arranged including a girl he was seeing before me , and his brother, ( whom i was sort of seeing before i even met him) :S
his exact words, "get everyone together and see what happens...."
