If he friend zones her then it's in her ball park to decide what she can or cannot handle in regards to her feelings. To make the choice for her is condescending and basically treating her like a child.

The FRIEND ZONE is an intellectually dishonest response to a human being who has communicated romantic feelings to another person.

The damn FRIEND ZONE card should have never been played at all because, as I said, it is a de facto dishonest set-up.

But, because dipshit played it to her, it's now up to him to clean up the mess before this girl tortures herself any further.

...But we all know he won't fix this mess.

It isn't intellectually dishonest. She wants one thing, he wants another. He can communicate what he is willing and available to do. If she doesn't like it or want it she's free to choose to walk away and not look back.

You have it exactly right.
She also knows this, and as I answered on another post I'm letting some time pass to make sure her feelings from her recent break aren't driving her judgement. She even admitted needing time to clear things.
Still wanted to see me, but I underscored not until after she was certain she was over the relationship.

I'm not sure where the "friend zoning" thing is coming from. That's an imagination at work adding pap that simply isn't there.

The friend zoning was scopriofish's add. However one wants to label it, if one person wants a romantic relationship and the other doesn't then there's no obligation to try to fit the romantic needs of the other.
