Pisces--Your Rag to Riches Story

Okay maybe it's not rags to RICHES but any stories of going from rock bottom (divorce, homeless, poor, life-threatening disease, etc) to triumph?

I need some encouragement.

Well, I had a very, very nice paying job and a very nice girlfriend. Girlfriend left me 1 year ago and due to the current country crisis I got fired and cant find any job (yes, 1 year and still unemployed). Things are getting worse every day.


I'll let you know when I leave this bottomless pit if I figuratively and literally don't kill myself before that happens.

Year 1999 was one of the worst years I witness. My mother almost died giving birth to my little brother because my of retarded father jumped on her and beat her to death and now here he is calling my cell phone everyday begging forgiveness because my sneaking sister gave him my number treetrunk him.

Yeah, I was homeless for a short bit. The company I was working for fucked up their payroll and didn't pay me as much as they should have when they should have. The place I was living at only gives you 2 weeks to be late on rent before they kick you out, and since I wasn't paid on time I had to throw away almost all of my possessions and live on the streets for a few weeks until I got another place. Before this happened, I was barely staying afloat, just floundering financially anyway, only making enough for rent and food so I really didn't have any money when I finally submerged. Like.... around $ 50....

I'm not rich but I have some money now and also a beard.


So anyway, it's fucking cold sleeping on the streets in the winter. My best advice is that when it gets cold at night, be semi-young and semi-innocent and semi-attractive looking then go to a Denny's and buy a coffee for $ 1. They'll feel bad for you and let you get unlimited refills, so you can stay inside for as long as you need to, getting really high on caffeine. This will keep you out of the cold and then when you go back outside, you will be mostly numb and also super energized you can walk for a really long time. This is important to keep you from freezing and/or being assaulted/raped.

Also, sneak into movie theaters. The best way to do this is to find somewhere to stash your belongings. Then, go in during a movie. Just walk right in, head straight to the bathrooms. If anyone asks any questions, tell them you just ran outside to make a call real quick. When you say this, it's very important that you don't act at all perturbed. 99% of the time this will work and they will "ohhhh 🙂" On the 1% time they question you, just be like... "NO, I don't still have my ticket stub" but make sure your pitch gets lower vs higher because people's pitch gets higher when they're lying and lower when they're annoyed about being falsely accused.


You will learn some social engineering which is both semi-sociopathic and also extremely useful 🙂


Good luck. If you're a woman, my best advice is just to marry some rich dude. Capitalize on dat pussy, I know I would.

I just feel extremely strapped for cash and I've been working an internship in which they have asked me to stay but it's a non-profit so I'm not being paid much to afford the rent in my area so I'm trying to find a better job but in the meantime I'm trying to go on faith. So I'm just a little apprehensive in the moment.

@boringpyezece, I am so sorry you had to experience all that you did but I am glad you have gotten back on your feet. One thing you can say is that if you got through that ALL in your right mind, you can make it in life just fine.

It is not over a girl but because absolutely everything is getting worse. For example, today I received a letter about getting evicted in a week if I dont pay my debts. The fun part is: I have 0 monnies due to the unemployment and can barely afford food off my last savings.

The girl was just the beginning.

My ex-husband cheated on me with another woman. He showed up at his parents house, knocked on their back door (he was drunk) and introduced the chick to his parents (she was drunk, too). Long story short, I found out about it, and got a divorce. I was not given any child support for a whole year! I ALMOST lost the house (mortgage). God's angels were working over time for me. Why? Because I kept getting mortgage advisors working on my case, she'd/he'd drop the case due to illness and/or too much workload and my case was given to another mortgage advisor. Can you say seven (7)? By God's grace I did NOT lose the house!

Ex-husband gave me EVERYTHING from A-Z inside the house (to include garage "manly" tools, etc). All he wanted was his freedom, his Toyota truck, and his clothes. I granted this to him.

Fast forward 29 April 2016. I have my freedom, my child, and my home (again, by the GRACE of God). Tree trunk ex-husband asks me back (yeah, he lives with the chick and he showed me the scratches on his right arm from her!). I just shrugged my shoulders and told him, "That's what you wanted!"

My philosophy is this, "When God closes a door, he will blow WIDE open another one for you/me" 🤗

Steady is boring. It is a lonely life when you reach the highest top you can achieve. Paradoxically, it is stressful and boring at the same time.

There is a beauty in spiralling down to the bottom (in my case due to interest reversal and procrastination), as long as you keep being confident and observant. I observed the bad and the dark as part as getting to know myself. It was like doing research for a dark part in an interesting play or film. I like challenges, I'm Mars in Aries. Always remained confident that I could turn my life back very soon. Sometimes I had to keep hitting the ground several times in a row to be able to bounce back or to reach even a higher top.

I agree on downward spirals pulling you out of a stagnate state of procrastination. It's actually nice to read that, because I have always believed this but never heard anyone else share in my opinion to the matter, so it confirms to me that this, struggles in life, can be a GOOD thing.

Father is from Egypt so he seems women differently than a lot of cultures. Been physically abused my whole life. One night I came home drunk with friends and my mother called the cops. I was the one to get arrested and get a record. Mom was dealing with cancer at the time, so every other dispute that happened between my father and me, she would call the cops and I would get arrested even with a broken nose and black eyes. One night I got arrested and had to be in prison for six months because I failed probation. I did my time.

Now I am just finishing my last assignment from my first year at law school. My parents are divorced and I have never seen them happier. My mom beat cancer. I am closer with my father
