Dont get me wrong, pisces are unique and have that ability to really comfort a person and put their souls at rest, if not by death lol, but i wouldnt say they are the smartest..

I use to work with a pisces girl and she was unreliable and couldnt finish anything that was assigned to her, or it took her forever to do it, then i had a pisces boss who was a piece of sh!t, was a terrible leader who threw his subordinates under the bus but i give him some credit for trying, i couldnt wait til he was removed from his position, another would run away if the sh!t hit the fan. In an environment where teamwork is vital we need every ounce of strength and if they "swim" away when things get a little tough, how can goals be achieved? ..... just my experiences and opinions.

Depends what your definition of smart is. For example, I was born in a socialist country where smart (as a work force) referred to a person who managed to get paid and avoid any retaliation while spending the least amount of time working. "Working hard" was considered something for dummies. Quite the opposite of what you are claiming, fellow capitalist!

No, I don't think intelligence can be measured or defined based on what zodiac sign you are. I think Pisces think they are the smartest at times, like Capricorns and Aquariuses. Intelligence itself is something so abstract that it cannot be defined period. However, I do think that Pisceans have the tendency to be emotionally evolved and in tune- a form of intelligence prevalent in this sign.

An infamous quote by Albert Einstein states that... "A true genius admits he/she knows nothing."

this can only be a rethorical question. It implies that other signs could be able to gauge the intelligence of the most intelligent among the pisces.
It would be like asking "what is the size of the universe", it doesn't make sense because there is nothing to measure it against.

I've noticed that with a lot of aquas I know, they tend to think that they're smarter than they actually are. But, their confidence in that area can really make some people believe.

Either way, I don't think how intelligent you are is related to astrology. There have been no patterns in intelligence with the bright people I've known. Intelligence is hard to measure, as well. How do you know if a person is more intelligent than others or if they're just more driven, hardworking, creative, interested in learning, etc? It's not easy to tell unless you know the person pretty well.

i don't know about other aquas, but confidence isn't limited to that sign. Confidence has to do with alot of inner self happiness. If you're happy with yourself, even if you're just being stupid or doing dumb things you don't need to compare yourself at all. People who have PHD aren't even all aquas or half of them, many of them lack emotional quotient. When you get to that LEVEL, you are only focused on one thing: Success and being better -- but that is PERSONAL CHOICE. if that makes them happy. Whatever makes people happy and they're happy in their lives, very content, that's personally in my opinion, quite intelligent. That has nothing to do with I.Q.

Also, if we go by astrology, by patterns, It's usually URANUS/MC Midheaven or something. So, strong Uranus influence is genius mark, as supposedly Steve Jobs, Tesla, and other geniuses have this.

anyway who cares if people think they are? why does it bother you? If they aren't or are....is it offending you in some way? I feel there's alot of people out there that are super smart but they're not obnoxious about it. I dont feel offended at all.

@Lisa, It bothered me because they didn't seem to be realistically measuring their intelligence. It's kind of like living with a deluded vision of yourself and that doesn't seem rational to me. It also goes against my value of being introspective and understanding oneself, so it would irk me a bit, even though I understand that's not a value everyone has. Perhaps they were just comfortable with their level of intelligence, but it does not come off that way to me (especially since a few of them had an issue keeping up with higher education). At least their focus on being intelligent caused them to work a little harder. Motivation and drive is always positive.
These aquas also seemed to be perpetually immature, so perhaps that has to do with how they see themselves. I haven't actually met a mature aqua yet, even though I know quite a few. I'll have to expand my horizons one day.

And despite the immaturity and all the other negative things I've said, aquarius is still one of my favorite signs due to their quirkiness. They're pretty fun people.

i didnt realize until astrology that quirky was an aquarius trait. then i looked it up for good measure:

Having a peculiar character. Standing our from the crowd for the sake of it.
Eg Always eating burgers upside down.
Playing the piano whilst everyone else is socialising.

Having a toy dog that you always scratch in the same place.
Occasionally sporting the one eyebrow look.

k, my honest take is that pisces are not the smartest sign but have the potential to be among the smartest. that's purely off of my own RL experiences. I've met smart people from each sign and dumb fucks from each sign. however, the smartest people i've known overall are pisces, cancer, gemini, and aquarius (even if i don't include MYSELF in the equation 😛 ) at a certain point it gets hard to say who is the smartest because each of these individuals i regard highly have their own particular way in which they could edge out the others.


i've read that a lot of astrologers believe that gemini and pisces are the top two smartest. gemini taking the edge in "left brain" types of intelligence and pisces taking the edge in "right brain" types. this is not to say gemini don't also have highly evolved "right brain" and pisces highly evolved "left brain" (especially those on the aquarius cusp).


I don't agree with that, though. Also, Libras are the sign I least understand so I can't speak so much on them, but I always thought that the air signs were regarded as the intellectual signs.

Pisces are emotionally smart and are more confident in what they believe right or wrong: i usually poke holes in their arguments whatthey say sounds good but iisn't factual

they're better at feeling out their social environment and using their emotional intelligence to boss people around and hedge their social position to where people "worship" them. I know a few pisces.

So being smarter depends on wanting to learn and strive in that field which is what Pisces, Aquarius, and Gemini do. We really want to know everything. It's not about measuring brain capacity it's about being a part of the information highway! Anybody think we Pisces are ONE of the signs with a very high COMMON SENSE value? I do! That can also be seen and misinterpreted as looking or being smart! Common sense is just as important to me!! _??

No I don't think so. I think we as Pisces are able to blend into so many things that it just seems we are genius's.

I am more smart by experience than books. I watch, listen and emulate when the time is needed. I actually see this as a very valuable trait. If I am in a situation where I need to know something quick I will pull it up, scan it and make sure the important aspects are latched into the memory. Then I use words, wit, and those bits of knowledge to act as if I am an expert. It never has failed me.

If anyone is smart I have to say Virgo's or Sag's. All signs are and can be smart, to me those just are more natural at being book smart than most.

Obviously, their brain was very much involved "in the first place", otherwise he/she would be as ignorant about those facts as you are!

That is what intelligence is. To gain, understand, process and spread information. If he/she does it so well, that his audience may believe they are dealing with a specialist...more kudos to his/her intelligence.
