A group dedicated to hunting sharks off the coast of Cape Cod, Mass., said it documented the first great white shark of the season.
The Cape Cod Shark Hunters spotted the shark on Thursday, MyFoxBoston.com reports.
The 16-foot-shark was located just north of the Chatham harbor inlet, in close proximity to popular swimming beaches, the group reported on its website.
In early June scientists received radio signals from two sharks looming of the coast of Chatham, but there were no reported sightings. The sharks, along with six others were tagged by researchers in summer 2011 to help study their migratory habits.
To add to suspicions that the fish have returned, an injured seal with large gashes on its torso was spotted floating in nearby waters. Great whites are famous for the appetite for seals.
In past years, beaches in the vicinity have been closed due to shark sightings. In 2011 there were 35 great white shark sightings off Cape Cod.

I KNEW it! I knew pisces had an evil side to them. Pisces boy knew exactly what he was doing all along and I'm sure he got the hugest ego stroke of his life. After reading this thread I'm even more angry/embarrased/hurt.

I love "the Bad Fish Club"!! Lol! And I would totally agree that Pisces are a little coo-coo at times! We are so moody and we 'feel' so much that we take more things personally than intended. That can causes to get into a crazed anger at times, it is brief and awesome to behold, anyone who gets the wrath of a scorned Pisces shall regret!
Seems to be a "tame" thread for a true sory.
This happened a few years ago and remembered a former girl friend staying the night.
It was really late into the evening and spent the time "quietly" warming her bottom.
Now I'm not sure who was making more noise into the wee hours of the morning but..
My kids gently opens my door and says
"you know I have a health studies exam in the morning"
It's good to be home again.

I love "the Bad Fish Club"!! Lol! And I would totally agree that Pisces are a little coo-coo at times! We are so moody and we 'feel' so much that we take more things personally than intended. Bcoz she is in my dance class & she is just 19 years old girl our other dancers told me that she had a crush on me the way she is looking and smiling @ me really disturbed me alot & i can't concentrate on my dance moves, That's why i did it . . . .
