Jeff Jarrett and Barry Windham vs. Bradshaw and Flash Funk. More chaos.
Some guy is bragging about Wrestlemania being sold out. Then Kane comes and kills him. Vader comes out and uses a fire extinguisher on Kane. Twice.
Road Dog v. Steve Austin. They go at it intensely to start. DX comes out quick however. Shawn and Hunter drag him out and then its 4 men against 1 yet again. 5 counting Chyna. They tie Austin in the ropes so shawn can get in his face and talk shit to him on how he will never get the title. Out comes Cactus Jack! Still in an IV from the hospital allegedly. Funk also comes down with his chainsaw! Stone cold chases after DX.
Man Raw is slowly finallyyyy getting better. Most shows are hard to watch but this wasnt one of them. It told a great story and was hot most of the night. I may like it more than Nitro for the first time in awhile.

Ultimo Dragon vs. Kidman. Another good lil match. After Saturm attacks Dragon.
Nash is pissy because Kidman just gave a power bomb. He says the problem must not be the move but the person who does it.

He says whats necesarry is a great big thank you to all the jericholics for making him the champ he is today! He is sad Res injury happened during his match nd says he hopes it never ever happens again.
Jericho vs super calo. Funny moment when Jericho gets fucked up by a move and starts yelling for someone to help him! lmao. Jericho makes quick work of him short after that though.
A solid first hour of wrestling matches. Something we will prolly never see on a 98 or 99 raw.
Steven Regal vs Booker T for WCW TV Title. Okay match. Too fast.
Hall is out with Dusty Rhodes. He surveys it up. He then bitches how he hasnt had his world title shot for winning world war III yet. Hall then takes on Jim Neidhart.

And now the mainnnn event. Sting vs Macho man. Stings entrance lasts forever and takes too much time. Match is ok tho too short. Savage is actually almost about to get the win but Hogan stops it and attacks Macho. Macho and Hogan are about to go at it but Luger comes out and attacks Macho. This leaves Sting alone with Hogan but the NWO comes out.
Show was good, but mostly because its different from Raw since it actually has good wrestling. I do think they keep making Sting look too weak though. Raw was actually the more exciting show for once though. 3 hours is really long :/

They start with highlights of Bam Bam beatin on Chris Candido. WWF's Sunnt, candidos real gf comes to his aid. Bam Bam is then about to slam both Sunny and Francine but Shane Douglas helps them. Which helps RVD get a win over Bigelow.
First match is Triple threat(douglas, storm and Candido) vs Bam Ban and Taz. But, no! During the match, Bam Bam turns on Taz and helps triple threat beat on Taz. Candido then turns on his tag team champion partner Lance Storm! They beat on storm. The original triple threat i back together! Awesome turns.
Justin Credible vs Hamada. A nice beat down by Credible.
Show ends with a promo from the reuinted triple threat talkin their shit about Taz and Lance storm.

Austin has stolen Shawns WWF title! And has it in the ring and wants Shawn to come get it.

Ken Shamrock and Chainz v. Farooq and the Rock. Match is actually not bad and after Shamrock snaps! Including on his own teammates.
They show highlights of a wrestlemania press conference. Mike Tyson will be the special enforcer. Pretty good highlights.
Then we get some shitty storylines. Theyve done the oppisite of what made last weeks Raw so good and show all these lil shit tastic wrestlers.
New Age Outlaws come out mocking Funk and Foley. They re-enact pushin the trash cans off the Stage again with crash dummies in it.
Goldust and Mero are odd partners.

Its 5 on 1 again as they surround the ring. Chyna gets the belt back. Cactus and And chainsaw come up from under the ring and Owen also comes out.
All that to hype the big match and the upcoming PPV that im not gonna watch.
So when raw focuses on Austin, DX, NAO, Cactus, Funk and Owen and to a lesser extent Rock and Shamrock, like last week it is good. This week they focused on everyone else and Austin cant keep the whole show good on his own. Pretty bad episode.

Chavo Guerrero and Dean Malenko v. Chris Jericho v. Eddie Guerrero. Eddie gets some chants. Them being in El Paso. Jericho still has his cruserweight belt on during the match and has to take it off when he gets tagged in. lolol. Jericho and Eddie make a great heel tag team. Jericho and Eddie continue to do great tag work as they try and wear down Malenko. They do this the great old school heel way. Until Malenko is finally able to make the hot tag to Chavo. Man that was great old school tag wraslin. And Jericho is already the most entertaining part of Nitros. Bar none.
Juventud Guerrera v. El Dandy. El Dandy is a chubby little crusierweight. Good little match. Looks like the 2nd hour is the hot hour this week. Jericho comes out after and attacks Juvi but it backfires. Jericho grabs a mic. He says he came out to congratulate Juvi on a great performance and this is how he gets treated! "whats your problem amigo?" lolol. Juvi says somethin in spanish. Jericho translates what Juvi said. Jericho says Juvi is a one hit wonder. The same as Dexys Midnight runners! lmao Jericho continues his comedy hour and Juvi challenges him to a mask vs Belt match. Jericho accepts for Superbrawl! Man I wish Jericho was on every hour of thse long 3.

Hollywood Hogan v. Randy Savage. I hope this isnt the main event. Theres a half hour left . :/ Macho man actually does hit a flying elbow eventually and is about to win but NWO ruins it. Hall included. NWO working well together again as they beat on Macho.

Dreamer??s grandfather gave him the money to attend wrestling school. They do a moment of silence for him. and a ten bell salute. Out comes Justin Credible. He says he wishes it was Dreamer who died instead of his stupid grandfather! Dreamer attacks instantly! Brawl ensues. Dudleys and Sandman try and break it up.

DDP interview talkin about Benoit. Raven stands up in the crowd. DDP wants to fight him right now.Impromptu match but Saturn gets in the ring. So Benoit runs out as well.

Bret Hart is out. He talks about Hogan and his excuses. Out comes Bryan Adams straight from the WWF. Hennig then comes out and helps Adamas attack Hart. Hennig and NWO beat on Hart to a dead crowd. Hogan then beats on him too. Out comes flair! Woo! He kicks some NWO ass. Flair and Bret shake hands, Finally something comes from their match weekssssss later.
JJ Dillon makes the TV title match at the PPV Martel vs Booker and then the winner takes on Saturn that same night,

Show starts off good with a half hour of Booker T. Too bad they prolly wont grow his popularity more. Jericho and Juvi was great as usual. Juvi had to take off his mask :O. bulldog and mcmichael stunk it up. DDP and Benoit had quite the battle. The last 3 matches as usuall pulled the show down. Scott finallyyy turned on rick and joined the NWO. Hogan ruined the main event as usual

Juvi had to take off his mask :O. bulldog and mcmichael stunk it up. DDP and Benoit had quite the battle. The last 3 matches as usuall pulled the show down. Scott finallyyy turned on rick and joined the NWO. Hogan ruined the main event as usual

Raven vs Benoit. Benoit stalks Raven as he is coming out for the match. Brawl ensues. DDP ends up out nd the 3 end up battling. May be the best part of the night.

I admit I jumped ahead, way ahead on the WCW side of things and watched almost all of 98 and 99 in one weekend last week. I just couldn't wait for the NWO Hollywood and Wolfpac split.
The helicopter episode of Nitro was hilarious with Bischoff pretending he's being blown away.

DDP v. Sting for WCW Title. Kickin the second hour off hot tho! Crowd is loving the match! Two wcw fan faves going at it. Starts a little slow tho. It does pick up towards the end though. Nice little battle.
Eddie Guerrero vs Kaz Hayashi. Eddie does win and proves a point to chavo..
Dragon come to the ring and bumps into Eddie, Chavo is slapped and told to open the ropes by eddie.
Prince Iaukea beats Konnan in a n upset
Jericho time! Welcome to monday night jericho! He then says Go standford! Referring to Kentuckys upcoming college basketball game. He then takes on Lenny Lane. Jericho gets a rather quick win.
Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash vs the Giant. They be trying to pull all the stops against Raw. The Giant at least looks strong for once.
Booker T vs Benoit for TV title. Great fuckin match that ends in a time limit draw. Hopefully a rematch ensues.
Curt Hennig takes on British Bulldog. Not a good match. Rude and Hennig beat on Bulldog. Bret Hart makes the save to a pretty huge pop! Bryan adams and virgil come out so Bret kicks their asses too.
Goldberg beats down Renegade.

Godwins try and cost LOD the match. However LOD pulls through. Nice little return but the match itself sucked. 1/5
2. WWF Lightheavyweight Title: Taka Michinoku vs Aguila
Fast paced match and also just fast match in general. WCW still was doing it better. 2/5
3. WWF European Championship: Triple H (w/Chyna) vs Owen Hart.
The live band plays the DX theme and sucks, basically. Slaughter handcuffs Chyna to him so she cannot interfere. Howeever towards the end Chyna still manages to. The two put on a good match despite the end. 2.5/5
4. Luna and Goldust vs Mero and Sable
Match was better than I was expecting. Sable kicks some ass. 2/5

Waaaaaay too short. :/ 2/5

The match rules themselves are pretty stoopid but I actually quite enjoyed it. 2.5/5

All the hype to this over the months. It best pay off. Kane tombstones Pete Rose before the match.Geez all the pre match stuff takes 15 minutes.
The match itself is okay. Good for this times WWF standards. 2.5/5

Here we gooooo. Tyson out first. Then Austin. They do get in each others faces. The ref kicks out chyna and triple h from ring side early on! Match itself has a nice slow build. I dig it. Fans chant "Holyfield!" mid way through. lmao. Match continues to build up with back and forth to get towards the end. Shawn sets up for sweet chin music. Austin ducks and goes for a stunner! No shawn reverses and goes for sweet chin music again! Austin blocks! Kick! Stunner! Tyson makes the (fast) count! 1...2...3! STONE COLD! STONE COLD! STONE COLD! JR and the fans go nuts. "The Austin era has begun" says JR nd how right he is. Good match with that classic double reversal end. 4/5

Nash gets in his face. Nash says someone may be wanting to stick a knife in hogans back..Nash also says he has him a partner already.
Jericho time! He has himself a cup of water and some papers. He dedicates this match to dean malenko! He says he shamed his father because he wasnt a quitter like Dean. He then takes on Marty Jannetty. Super quick win for Jericho. After the match he says Malenko calls himself the man of a thousand holds. Well Jericho knows 1,004 holds! lmao and thus starts one of my all time favorite Jericho moments as Jericho starts to read the list of all he knows. Hold 1 arm drag. Hold 2 arm bar! hold 3 the moss covered 3 handled family gredunzal. Number 4 arm bar! lmao he goes on and on and gets cut off by commercial break.
We come back from commercial and Jericho is still reading! Hes on hold 712. hahahaha. The next match starts and Prince Iaukea throws him out of the ring before his match with Glacier.

Raven vs Buff Bagwell. ddp chases raven durin the match.

Disco and Kidman end up having a pretty good match.
Rick rude joins the announce team as hennig takes on jim neidhart. Adams, Hennig and Rude beat on Jim and Bulldog until Hart makes the save.
Chris Benoit vs Booker T for WCW TV Title rematchhh. Another great match! Another draw tho. But that means more rematches!
