Charlotte, oh my . That brings memories of that horrific detour I was forced to take after the race two weeks ago. After being at the cursed Lowes Motor Speedway for 10 hours, I was directed through the underbelly of Harrisburg, around through UNC-Charlotte and then of course I got lost. I arrived back at the hilton exhausted but with a far better comprehension of the backroads of Charlotte.

i go to charlotte at least four times a year for meeting and races and I always stay at either the drury suites or hilton near the university. i once looked for a job there the the cost of apartments shocked me.
i am scheduled to attend the nascar preview in january which is a hellish week of media tours and press conferencs, but i can some anytime. I live three hours away, butcan make it in 2:40 in my new car. My favorite places are the lake in the universit area and the concord mills mall and of lake norman. i once had my car smashed when i had to stay in downtown charlotte for a race. my last trip to charlotte two weeks ago left me with a huge headache too much rain, too many fans, and one lost fish. I wound up in a black neighborhood and am stil not sure how i found the hilton. oh well, such is life.
