durrie, my problem with qbone is his generalizations as to all of us being all for this. im not, i never was, and i dont like it and there are many americans that dont also. im not going to stand by and be judged by someone who groups me in with everyone else. im tired of hearing about how we are brain-washed and are drones of the media. do u believe everything u hear or see. we are capable of independant thought, just because i live in america doesnt mean i should be judged as part of an ignorant clan . i do understand why we are not wanted in iraq and why we shouldnt be there. no i wouldnt like getting raided, bombed or having a relative killed by an invading force. the people of america would be doing the same thing if someone was in our country as we are in thiers. i am not an infant who cannot grasp this without having someone from another country explain it because he feels he is so more enlightened than any american could possibly be.

and no i dont judge them either. the people in iraq just want to live thier lives out, so do i. we are not so different. if q-bone continues to group all americans as the same than i will correct him each and every time.

Gosh parallax...it is now blatantly clear you have not understood my posts. I don't want to continue the opinion ping pong game as I said earlier but I have to say this...please read knowing I do not actually hate anyone...

You're right...
Neither myself nor Qbone live in Iraq...but nor do you...but that's not the point I'm trying to make...I'm not asking you to believe me or trust me...I'm not trying to convert you or get you to be like me...this isn't about me...nor is it about you...America, Iraq, Pallestine, Muslims etc...

This is about the innate predisposition of the westernised human mindset to always want to CONTROL...both each other and our resources bacause of the TOTALLY dis-proportionate ratio of it's needs vs wants...!!!

We don't need even 20% of the crap we have in our lives but what is worse is that we actually DEMAND them out of life...and these "demands" are the reason for our minds degradation...

And G.W.B is a shinning FUKN example of that degradation. I don't hate him...I don't hate America...I hate what he allows to control him and America...and as such I am WELL within my right to express that...!!!

The ONLY thing we have the right to control and actually have any REAL power to control is our very own selves. You misunderstand why I say LET GO. What I mean is detach yourself from anything corrupt...anything anti your agenda...streamline your efforts into positive direction.

Now maybe you can see my point...! You see it's not important who is doing it...under what guise...with who ever as an ally or enemy...it's about the act itself...and THAT is what I will not be a part of because yes G.W.B may well be victorious one day (although I promise you he won't) but then what do we have...

A free Iraq...great...but also 100 000 maybe more MURDERED innocent by standers in the process...even if it was 1 solitary person Parallax...the law of karma dictates that if I am in any way involved I am responisble and must pay for those sins too...hence I will never back G.W.B or any other war monger for that matter.

Cj7...I hear you...Qbone often is a rough one to swallow but...put yourself in his shoes...he has no emotional attachment to the U.S and as such his posts are quite full on.

You do have an attachment...and you also agree with SOME of the stuff he says or at least you do know or have met people like of the kind he is talking about...am I right...?

As such...why watse your time, effort and breath on correcting him...— People will never believe the truth until they see it themselves man.
Maybe your efforts would be better spent approaching those individuals who are spoiling it for you, and the sane America...now you maybe see why I said G.W.B has got bigger fish to fry that Iraq...

We are in this to the end and we get a little tired of helping out and getting it put to us at the same time.
