so, as the word is out among my friends that I'm single again, this old friend of mine, born on the same day as me starts calling and texting me again. We flirted relentlessly for a few months in the early part last year, went out a couple times, me always cancelling last minute, because I never thought this would be anything serious...now, he's at it again... and I'm thinking to myself: "omg, no, not again, lol". Honestly, why would I even consider someone who is pretty much exactly like me? I hate to say it to him, but this is just not going to happen for very many reasons.
Would you ever think about dating someone with your birthday?

I don't understand, just because he's born on the same day doesn't mean he'll be the same person as you...even on a different time of day, could yield a different rising.

Me and Librasid are born on the same day but his chart and my chart are completely different, he's born on a different year, has a completely different moon, venus, mars...as a matter of fact..his venus and mars are completely opposite of mine.

The only thing we truly share is the same birthday and the same sun sign..so, are you trying to say that you won't date another person that has the same sun sign as you? That's pretty limiting don't you think, it isn't like the guy is your brother or cousin or something.

no, no. I have no issues dating someone with the same sign, but this particular guy seems like my evil twin. creeps me out, lol. I have a bunch of Gem friends and they're alright for most part.
Just wonder if someone else did it and what their experience was. Mine was not pleasant, I felt like I was dating myself - that's not that much fun - if I want to date myself, I'll stay home, kwim?

Hmmm...I'd look into that..especially if it repulsed you. But hey if you're bored, i can understand.

I'd give it a go, myself, if he seemed like a good guy. I only know one person born on my bday, though, and she's a "she".

For some reason, I know a lot of people born on May 23rd and a lot born on Nov 1.

An interesting concept, but dating the female me? I can be very cold and self destructive, so yea prob a bad idea. But it could be interesting to see how I might be perceived from an outside perspective so maybe....

I have only met one other person who has the same BD as me. I pretty much hate her. Obnoxious, hateful. I really, really, hope that isn't how people perceive me.

Yes I did, when I was younger, we never forgot about each other and ended up finding each other after we were 25, now we are the best of friends. I will tell him any and everything going on with me and he also does the same. When we talk its like therapy because we REALLY understand one another. Helluva Bond

I don't know any females born on my bday so I couldn't say. The only other person I know that has my birthday is Bruce Willis. That'd be tight to meet him though, eh?

well this Gem guy and I are talking - here is the thing, we know each other for a while, have mutual friends, went out before, now that I'm single again he pops up again, lol...I'm thinking to myself: "really... we did this dance before". I'm keeping it friends only, he wants other things and I see clearly, and I mean CLEARLY Jekyll & Hyde...we are too the same, born both on June 7th, the only difference is he's 44 and I'm 37.
Now all of a sudden he's like - we should to a our birthday party together in his club (so typical of Gem to own a club, lol) and I'm like...naaahh...I want peace and quiet.

Honestly - it's funny - we don't really mirror each other, more like defy each other and play good & evil. We just keep flipping, and talking to him is like having a conversation with myself - so, that can be ok and not, lol.

It's interesting, but could never work long term. Not for me.

I would love to know someone who shared my birthdate, especially if they were born the same year as me. I'm thinking it could be bliss or a clusterfuck...either way probably a hell of a lot of fun for awhile.
