Attracted to the wrong sign—

Has anyon found themselves more attracted to their non compatible signs more than their compatible signs. For example I'm a Libra who is constantly attracted to Virgos, Taurus, Cancers, Pisces, and my opposite Aries. But barely any of the ones that the books say I should be with. Does this happen to anyone else—?

It's the story of my life. Most people I prefer relationships with, whether romantic or platonic, are almost always earth and water signs. I'm a leo.

My first bf was a cancer and my current is another cancer. I dated 2 other guys and they were both Taurus. I did have a Libra bf once but I did his chart one day and found that he had so much Scorpio flooding his chart it probably canceled out his Libran traits.

All my life I just got earth and water signs. Mainly Taurus, then scorpio, capricorn and cancer.. I should be more compatible with fire and air signs - I am aries. But that might be because of my venus placement : taurus and moon sign: scorpio.. BTW I don't think your opposite sign (libra) necessarily means some sort of incompatibility. I don't know too much about that though..

oh and me too, the only libra guy that I got (my longest relationship, 6 years) had his rising or moon in cancer .. He was definitely more like a cancer than a libra..

Yea my moon is in Pisces lol so ironic.(I have other threads on me and Pisces) I just looked at my birthchart and I always felt I didn't act exactly like a Libra but then again I'm a Libra/Scorpio cusper too so I wonder if that makes a diff.

Yeah, this is the story of my life too. But I think compatibility in friendships is different from compatibility in terms of relationships. I'm damn near compatible with ALL signs when it comes to friendship (despite what those astrology books say), but when it comes to relationships, I keep on freakin' attracting all the signs that Aquarians supposedly just don't get along with or click with.

I used to always attract Gems & Libras...well those 2 signs are supposed to be the most compatible with Aqua, so I wasn't surprised when I'd meet either sign & when we'd immediately just "click."

But now, I'm noticing that I'm attracting alot of Leos (my polar opposite), Scorps, Pisces, Cancers & def. Aries! What's even more surprising is that my connection with them is just as strong & awesome like it would be persay I actually attracted signs that I'm naturally supposed to mesh well with.

yeah definitely on the friendship level it works completely different for me too- Lots of air and fire in the ones I really like - But definitely for the romance, the attraction, connection and chemistry is with the ones I am not supposed to get along with. But probably to look at the moon, venus and if you're on the cusp of another sign makes a lot of sense.. I am one day before being on the cusp of aries/taurus so it feels like I am both although most of the astrology site state that the cusp starts 1 day after my birthday so..not sure about that, but that would explain all the taurus and other earth guys in my life..

Yeah....I'm a sagi dating a scorpio. Fire and water. But I think what helps us is that the rest of are chart (besides sun and moon) are exactly the same. My moon is also in scorpio so I understand him better. Also he is a scorpio/sag cusper

Likewise I Have A Hard Time With Taurus's (supposedly a perfect match) Its Not That I Dont Get Along With Them, I Do, But Only Up To A Point Before We Lock Horns, Then It Goes Pear Shaped...

I have this crazy attraction for Libras (and especially Libra scorpio cuspers). I call it a FATAL attraction because it always ends in pain. For me. They seem to go on like nothing happened. I wonder if its because my stepdad (who raised me, my hero, my world) was a lib/sco. They say you marry your parent of the opposite gender. *shrug*

I'm a scorp. And even though I know it makes no sense..I love fire and air signs...I've had my share of dramatic relationships with my opp taurus, the whimsy gem, and LEOs of all people. Ugh....why do I torure myself? O yea...because I'm a scorpio.

If I got a little boy, I think it's gonna be Cancer. I like how the little buggers got a mummy complex! But no Cancer girls for me!

I'm a gem and always attracted to sag men which is my opposite sign, it never works out though since both signs are free spirits and need freedom.

the things is you should check your birth chart our sun sign (main sign) is such a general statement you get a more elaborate description of who and what you are when you check your birth chart.. ppl who are more attracted to the oppisite of what they are its because they have that sign in their 12 houses soo look it upp

not the 12th house im sayin basically that sign that u are attracted to is somehow aprt of your alignment ... i love capricorns hence i have 6 out of 12 houses in capp.. i fall in love easy 😢 my venus is in pisces .. and soo onn

Yep, I fell HARD for a Virguy & I'm a Libra, which is supposed 2 not be the best match strictly from a SUN SIGN point of view, BUT, I have VIRGO IN VENUS, & I swear, he's got Moon in Pisces or some other water sign that makes him more emotional than your average Virgo & a bit more scattered too. Lol. I have a Pisces equivalent(Rabbit) & I do tend to love deeply & look for stability/security in relationships, & don't like playing "the game"-more compatible with the Virgo approach to things, but my hpemotional system can't handle their secretiveness and silent spells...I NEED communication...very Libra of me eh? I have double Libra & Gemini rising, so triple air sign. I'm sure there's things in his chart that made him more attracted/attractive to me, despite the foibles that came along, but we had a fight, we both spoke out, & now it's up to him if he wants to continue a relationship w/me...I forgave & moved on already, & am willing to work @ making adjustments.... but can he? Yet, if he came back again, I would probably take him on a friendship level back...true blue I am, despite various difficulties, because he did a good deed for me, & I'll always be grateful for it...must be the Pisces equivalent...sentimental & loyal. Two ex-hubs were water signs...Pisces & Cancer...not the best matches for Libra on a Sun Sign level. But, must be that Virgo in Venus, or the Pisces equiv...I'm Libra when it comes to analyzing/communication, but emotionally, I run deeper than your average Libra...probably why I attracted the two water signs...just can't get on with Aries men(always turned out bad cuz they put U on a pedestal & then pick U apart later-at least my experiences), & I've never met a Leo male I didn't get along with FABULOUSLY! Must be the triple Air that gets on w/them! Two of my best male friends are Gems, & I have 3 Aquarius male buds...I know quite a few more Aquarians & get on with them GREAT....there's an understanding between us Air signs. Other Libras, male or female, are just TOO FAMILIAR for me, lol...I.e. Kate Winslet shares my bday & birth YEAR & she's a triple Air sign, but all Libra(I have Gemini rising), & also has Virgo in Venus, & a Pisces equiv(Rabbit)...when I saw her in Titanic I just thought she was STRANGELY FAMILIAR on an energetic level...how she moved, how she talked, how she projected herself...come to find out how much we freakin' have in common Astrologically later & then I knew WHY. Jeesh!

Ex-hubs is Virgo. I've ventured off into Air twice, with not terrific result. It keeps coming back to Earth. Earth and Water. My highest attraction is to the Earth Clan. Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn. Then round it off with Scorp, Cancer, Pisces. I admire and am attracted to Air..admire mental acuity, but do not spark with Aquarius. Laugh my head off, but no "Ohlala" for some reason. Libra, too much indecision, either they're not ready/can't decide/have decided but are still on the fence and want to retain...and on and on we go. Mehhhhhhh, makes me want to lower my head and PUSH. Gemini is fun and quirky ( never been romantically attached to one, in interest of fairness ). With the exception of Leo ( first daughters father ) have never been with Fire either. And like I say, never discount someone because of their sign. 🙂 The moment you say "Oh hell to the naw!" about one, well there's one in your face.
