Gemini chasing a Taurus

This is my first post, and I've recently developed a larger appreciation for astrology at the start of the new year. Romantically I've been interested in Pisces on much more than one occasion. The last Pisces (cusp Aries) I was with, ruined my life....But I'm off topic.

I've recently begun hanging out with an old Taurus friend born exactly a month ahead of me from school. We've known each other for Ten Years now, and are the best of friends. We both share similar ideas, have similar approaches to things and have a lot in common. We also have some differences that could lend a hand to one another. (Her with Money, me with Communicating with strangers)

I don't know how to approach the feelings that are developing, considering shes been a dear friend for so long and I get really, really nervous talking to people directly about my feelings.....Any advice? I've read that Gemini and Taurus don't usually go well together....which saddens me😢

P.S. Her moon sign is Libra, mine is Sagittarius.

What about both your venus and mars? Those are better indicators on how to approach your bull romantically.

I think moving your relationship from friend zone won't be as hard as you think. Most bulls like direct action. Sometimes a simple "follow me" is enough to get us to take your hand. Given that she knows and trusts you, your simply coming out and telling her how you feel is enough. She may be feeling the same but in love matters, barring other aspects in her chart, we do not take the lead.

After 10 years she may have resigned herself to the fact that you two are just friends. A sudden shift can be welcome if she's been waiting for it or frightening as it means change. Given the time frame the latter is more likely. If that's the case, go slow but be clear.

Tell her how you feel. Let her know that recently you've been feeling this/that.
Express your reservation. Acknowledge that her friendship means more to you than anything.
Ask for what you want. Tell her that you would like to start dating and be clear about what that means. How is dating her different than friendship?
Ask her to give it a try. Tell her you both deserve a shot at this and that you believe you can make each other happy.
Don't tread lightly. Don't fuck up a great friendship if you're unsure. All or nothing is how you should view this. Yes, you both may end up realizing friendship is best but go in assuming she's all in or out. No in-between.

P.S. My Venus is in Taurus and my Mars is in Aries. Her Venus is in Aries and her Mars is in Pisces.
