Gemini needing assistance with a Taurus man

Hi, I'm falling head over heels for a man who's a Taurus and I'm a Gemini. The more I read about Taurus/Gemini combos, the more discouraged I'm becoming. Because I really, REALLY like this man and want to have a future with him.

I met this Taurus man online after he contacted me first. He was very interested in me, so we met and it was instant SPARKS. We had two dates in two days and a week later, when he came back in from working out of state, we had three dates in three days! We see each other as often as we can.

We haven't been fully intimate yet, but we both want to very much. I understand that Taurus likes to go slow, even though I'm jumping up and down like an excited kid wanting more.
I'm trying to give him space and time because I know this is what Taurus needs from reading.

He sends me a lot of mixed signals. We both have agreed to not date anyone else right now, because we want to see what happens with us. But he doesn't TALK to me or tell me how he feels about anything, leaving me to guess and be confused.

Like I text him when he's out of town working and he often won't text me back or I call and he won't pick up. So I stop doing both and after a couple of days he contacts me to see why I'm not talking to him. He tells me he likes when I call and text, but he doesn't respond much so I just don't. I don't want to be the clingy woman.
He seems happy when he sees me and the kissing...omg, is amazing. The touching. We can't take our hands off of each other. I can't stop running my hands through his hair and offering to rub his back because my hands just...CRAVE his skin.

I want to tell him how intensely I'm beginning to feel about him. But I'm scared if I do, he's going to run off or back away.

I asked him yesterday if it would put him off if I told him I really, really missed him when he was working out of town and he said, no it didn't bother him at all...but didn't say anything else in response!

Don't be discouraged by what you may have read before. One of my dearest friends is a Gemini (Cancer moon) and her boyfriend of over two years is a Taurus. Before they started dating they didn't get along at all. I mean, they hated each other. But things changed and they really hit it off. When I (any everyone else really) look at them, I see true love. They're just really compatible. So as I said you shouldn't be discouraged because of what you read. There are always exceptions and such. As far as your particular case, everything seems alright. I can understand the lack of communication bothers you. Have you tried outright telling him that you want to talk more? Sometimes a subtle hint or two just won't cut it. I would hold off on telling him just how strongly you feel about him until you two are communicating more often and more efficiently. Best of luck!
