We have been friends for 12+ years and are now considering a relationship. We are completely different and I know that right now his career would come first. Our personalities connect, we can make each other laugh and know each other very well.

Even though astrology is not the THE deciding factor between people and relationships, as a Capricorn girl I am agreeing with everyone else that says that relationships are way different. You may see another side. I dated a Gemini who I thought was all into me, but when we started dating I began to see his flirty ways, which annoyed the heck out of me.

As long as you can show him how to lighten up and and not think 'work' so much... things should be good. You may say you're second, but if you give him reason to, he'll put you first. Some of us caps only like to front like the other person doesn't mean much.. but once we're in love... we're all in -- so be prepared for that :-) !!

I,a cap woman,have been married to a gem. man, since 1981. although there seems to be differences between the sexes in the same sign, your question concerns cap. and gem.,so maybe i am qualified to give some input here.

basically, we are on different wavelenghts. that's been the hardest part. it takes ALOT of patience, and thoughtful effort to build upon, and stay in this relationship. but ya know, that's true with every committed relationship.
