lingering scorpio?

Theres a scoprio that has been somewhat chasing me for the past few weeks.

He wanted to meet up for dinner and drinks last friday, get to know each other better but I had to cancel after I told him I would. I sent him a text apologising etc and asking to re schedule. No reply and he was MIA all weekend until tuesday when he text me in the morning (i was planning on texting him tuesday anyway but he beat me to it).

So we were texting pretty much all day tuesday and we re organised to see each other this friday coming. Anyway he said he was suggesting places to go etc, and I suggested somewhere and his reply was that it would be better to go to where i suggested on a second date because we'd know each other better and for the first date he wanted to have a property conversation and get to know each other well. SO i said to him, so its a date huh 😉, and he replies going "well i hope so" so then we ended the texting and he was really eager I was like okay its a date and he was like "geed i cant wait etc etc". So we left it at that.

I text him later that night he crossed my mind so I just told him i had him on my mind and wanted to say hey. He replied saying he was about to go to a mate's place and it was cute that i was thinking of him. So i didnt reply. THEN about 12am he text me going "heyy i just got hm. Sweet dreams! x". I thought it was cute that he was thinking about me and wanted to text me to tell me he had just gotten home. By the way, we dont know each other in person and have only been talking for about 3 weeks.

I just want to know if were compatible based on our charts.

Oh yea and there is way more to it like he suggested we become gym partners. I said to him I didnt know how that would work out because I dont know how well id react if i saw girls checking him out and chatting him up at the gym and vice versa. He said to me "haha lol if i go gym witih u im going to stay with u lol i wont be wondering around and i know you will get checked out too without fail". Anyway my point is that his eager and is showing that he wants me but he previously asked me what i was looking for and i told him not a relationship but just a friend someone to hang out with i guess, he said he wasnt looking either and a friend was good but whatever happens, happens. So im somewhat confused, yes his eager and is letting me know he wants to get to know me etc but not sure. Im a bit iffy on scorp guys. My best friend was in loveee with a scorp guy and he was stringin her along for 4 years even got her pregnant (they were never monogamous they were just sleeping with each other but she got the impression that there was much more to it) too and told her he wanted nothing to do with her when she told him. He went MIA for a few months and now his back ringing her every weekend (mind you always after 12am) and asking to see her and that he loves her so much and he made a mistake etc etc.

uughh lol. And what does moon opposite mercury and in THOSE signs represent?? I hope not a crazy obsessive stalker 😐 lol. His ex gf is lingering also!
