He is.
He was physically/mentally abusive. We had an extremely toxic sexual and emotional relationship.
It was obsessive to the max. He was an a-hole...
Then he cleaned up his act at the last minute but relapsed and turned back into a douche.
Then I left him for good.
I do feel secured with my SO.
My new SO is actually my first love. Do you think I should tell him ?
So far I've kept it from him.
I know he's seen texts but he hasn't said anything other than "I think you should block him." Ages ago.
Do you think I should tell him about the gravity of the situation? I dont want it to turn ugly. Or ugliER. I don't want my ex to have the pleasure of knowing that he's getting into my bfs head when he's irrelevant in my life.

If he really IS dangerous - police should be notified.

My family doesn't know the REAL him.
They think he's nice.
I never told them about the other stuff. Only my cousin who is in a different country knows how he REALLY is and that's only because he stumbled across our WhatsApp convo one day when I asked him to use my phone to text my mum about something.
My mum never liked my ex though but she doesn't like him because she loves my current bf who who knows very well since we were childhood sweethearts and our families know each other.

I've told him that. I've been answering the same thing for 8 months now and today I hadn't received a message in over 2 weeks and I freaked out.

No no. Let's get this right. I'm 1000000% over him. I didn't even love him. Abusive relationships are not about love. That wasn't love. It was lack of self love and my life had become him. Everything I did turned around pleasing him.
I'm very happy with my bf.
He's almost perfect and he's perfect for me. I'm head over heels for him.
I cbf about my ex I just wish he'd leave me th f alone and stop freaking me out with his unstable behaviour. I wouldn't have blocked him if that hadn't been the case.

Thank you so much for the support. I couldn't wait until ton so I called my bf and he came straight back home and I showed him the texts and told him everything. I'm working from home today so he's taken the rest of the afternoon off and were going to the police together.
He said he wants to kill him and insult him but he said contacting him could fuel his sense of importance and make it worse. So we're leaving in a few hours.

He had the same view as me. He said he wanted to kill him and tell him a few words but he said that the guy is so f'd up that doing that will probably give him more self importance. So I'm finishing work and we'll go to the popo later. He's taken the rest of the day off so he's chilling here with me until we leave. 😊
