Here's the story, a few years back I met this wonderful Aries woman. We had mutual friends but didn't spend a whole lot of alone time together, that is until about three months ago. After a night out with friends, she started contacting me to hangout, have drinks, get dinner etc. but it was all very friendly. I knew that she was interested and she knew that I was as well but to be perfectly honest, I was scared, so I didn't pursue her. I never turned her down when she wanted to hangout and I would invite her out to social events but I never pushed for anything more. I work full time and go to school so my life is pretty hectic at times and she just started college for the first time, so we were both very busy. Not the best time to start a relationship, in my opinion. Well, she must have gotten sick of me waiting because she finally, in short, told me to ask her out. I did and our first few dates were great! We would spend hours just talking, laughing and just having a great time. She even told me she always thought there was something between us, even back when she was dating other men. That was all and well but physically things were not progressing very far. She had been hurt in the past and I was also a bit.....apprehensive. Physical affection can be hard for me. So while this is all going on, shes telling out mutual friends how head over heels she is for me and wants to take things to the next level. She told all of that to a mutual friend a day or two before our last date. I thought we had a great time and texted me when she got home and said the same. Well we worked opposite schedules the following few days so we didn't have the chance to see each other, though I told her I'd be willing to meet up when she got off work which was a bit late but I don't mind staying up. Also, I was leaving that weekend to visit friends and family back home and would be gone for over a week. So, over the few days before my departure, I texted her with little to no response, which was odd. She would text/Snap me numerous times a day before. I knew something was wrong but I left it alone. The day before I leave she texts me saying she would like to come over after work to talk. I said that would be fine and that I'd like to talk as well. That night, long story short, shes says she just wants to be friends and that she doesn't feel a spark for me anymore. "Its not you, its me". Odd thing is, was she seemed surprised that I was surprised she ended it. So that was last Thursday and I haven't spoken to her since. She did send me a snap yesterday but I didn't respond. I wanted to but I was busy and.......maybe a bit angry still. I really thought we had something and so did she apparently but in a moment it was done. She chased me for months to only dump me 2-3 weeks after catching me. I want her back but I just don't know how.
