Can anyone explain this to me?

The Taurus guy I talk to always makes comparisons between me and his mom (same interests, same degrees, natural nails..). The one comparison that really throws me off though is that when I ask him why he acts mean to me sometimes, he asks me "who are the 2 people that I am the most mean to?" which the answer is me and his mom.

What's up with that?

A man will treat a woman like he treats his Mother. A man will treat a woman like he treats service people. It is all he knows unless he has realized that his behaviour is not acceptable and does some inner work on himself to make postive changes.

He will not change....only you can change and that is either by accepting his behaviour or not.

*hint* always find out the relationship a man has with his Mother early on in a relationship to avoid further heartache down the rode.

I just don't get why he's nice to everyone else yet makes it a point to tell me that he's the meanest to me and his mom for a reason... like what? Is that his weird way of telling me that he cares about me?

i wouldn't accept anyone being mean to me, and i wouldn't want to be compared to someone's mother either. if his idea of showing affection is being mean...than that's really immature and insecure of him.

Very good points. It's moreso of a joking meanness, but yea I just don't get why he tries to come up with such rude jokes for me or him mom.
