If the break wasn't ugly and both couldn't get in wife/husband zone and just decided to stay in contact as friends, would it still be seen as "something that needs to end"?I get insecurity being a thing, to the point I just fall out of touch since I don't want any drama from future lovers of mine or my ex. Though a part of me does feel that if any partner get's upset over exs, it should be revealed as soon as possible so that you know what you're getting from them.
Yes and no.
I have exactly one ex that I still talk to about once a month.
And holidays, etc.
He's a fixture and I adore him-- I just can't live with him and I don't even want to try. lol
He's a Virgo, fwiw.
But he is 3000 miles away.
If he were local, I probably wouldn't keep in touch like that because it would be too awkward.
But when I was dating the other Virgo, I kept this contact to a minimum (major holidays) because
it's fucking rude to talk to your ex all the time, when you're dating someone else.
Just my opinion.
