Death by Broken Heart
I can't read that.. i experienced that with my grandparents.. grandmother passed away and 4 months later so did my grandpa when he was healthy as a horse prior to her death. Heart wrenching.....
I'm really close to the family of very good buddy of mine and it was the same way for his grand parents. They had been together since anyone remembered and when the grandmother passed, the grandfather went about 8 weeks without her before he passed on as well.

its like they lose the will to live. My grandparents were married 50 years... can you even imagine—? it didn't make me sad, i always think of my grandparents... its' amazing cuz my grandma lived a HARD life with my grandpa... he really wasn't there for her... would be missing for weeks at a time... she was basically on her own raising her 6 kids... but the last i'd say 10 years of their lives.. he adored her... and completely took care of her.. and when she passed, he completely lost the will to live. He actually killed himself... my dad and i were there. my dad was across the street and i wen tin to check on my grandpa, and i saw him clinging on to the oxygen tube cutting off his oxygen.. i ran got my dad... and he said.. its what he wants.. he doesn't want to be here alone.. it was so sad.. that is love... and at least my grandma got 10 years of knowing what it felt like. 🙂
