I was inside of the bus, seated close to the bus driver. He was dressed more like a postman (grey uniform) and he looked like one old actor from my country. He was talking continuously, very intense man, nervous nature. His driving was absolutely crazy. Can you please slow down, I yelled at him, holding tight to my seat. Oh, I've been doing this job for so many years??_.etc., he continued talking in a boastful tone, completely sure in his driving capabilities. I gave up in my attempts to slow him down seeing that I am stuck in a this speeding bus with the self absorbed man.
While he was doing his speech, I was looking through the window. The scenery was impressive. On our right there was a mountain. On our left the sea was stretching to the horizon.
The road started to curve a lot, but his driving hasn't change. I was jumping on my seat, leaning in every turning. Stop this! I yelled, but he didn't listen. He was not disturbed in his monologue, to confident in himself.
Suddenly, a huge pile of gravel appeared on a few hundred meters ahead of us. The driver tried to pull down, to stop the bus, but he couldn't. He lost control over the bus and we jumped off the road in the canal on the side.
The two of us were unharmed, but the bus was unable to move. I was clear headed, but the bus driver was in shock. He was desperately trying to turn on the engine. I left him to his desperation for a moment to see where we even are. I opened the door of the bus and I've noticed dirty, green ??_water— surrounding us. I closed the door immediately. Climbed up few steps and I was on the road again.
On top of the pile of gravel blocking the road, there were few man with orange helmets and shirts, working about. Hey, I shouted. They turned to me. Is there any possible way to continue further? I asked. One of the men said no, there is no possibility to continue.
Bad news. What to do? Cannot continue further, my mobile battery is off and I cannot call home or taxi.
I ran to the bus again, entered and closed the door. The bus driver was still in desperation. We cannot stay here, haven't you seen this green foul water all around us! Come on, we have to go. I grabbed him and pulled him out. As we stepped out, the bus started sinking and slowly disappeared in filthy green water. The bus driver was devastated. That bus meant everything to him. I was up on the road again, come, we have to go. I gave him my hand and pulled him up. ......
...cont.... Now I had to find a solution what to do. Being lost, we had to find our way back home. I looked around and was suddenly amazed by the beauty of the nature. Again, on our right, big mountain and on our left spreading sea. Something made me feel truly alive standing here. I've noticed a small house with nice wooden porch , standing on the cliff. I headed towards it along with the numb bus driver. I had to take care of him, after all now he is my traveling partner. We have to save ourselves from this together, I thought.
He sat down on the porch with his spirit completely broken. I was brainstorming what to do. I repeated, we have to find our way back home. He didn't react, he was depressed. He didn't care. I was so irritated by his numbness, trying to convince him we have to find our way. Finally, I was fed up. Ok, stay there I don't care anymore, I will go on my own, I AM going to find my way home.
I made a few steps and noticed wavy black wooden wand standing on the ground. I picked it up and now I really felt good spirited, like it was a sign that I am ready to go. I headed on and one of the working man on the huge pile shouted: The way home is through the mountain path turning right.
I took his advice and headed firmly on, leaving my partner in his numbness on the porch.
As I was walking, I've noticed a strange dwelling place in the rock. It was a home of two gipsy women. I said hello to them and asked, just to be sure, is it the way home really through the mountain path on the right. They set down and started drawing something in the dust on the ground. I looked carefully; some circles, lines... I figured it is the map they are drawing. They were talking something and I thought they are saying the names of the villages I'll pass through, but then I've recognized: Jupiter, Neptune... Name of the planets! Then it occurred to me they are drawing the star map. Calmly they said after they finished drawing, yes, way to home is through the mountain, up the path turning right.
I was so thrilled, so ecstatic! Of course, all was written in the stars! The mystery of the Universe and Creation. If we can read it and understand it, it might take us home. To where we belong.
I had to return and tell my partner that, he had to know, maybe that will open his mind. From a distance, I saw my partner on the porch talking to some Buddhist monk. I knew that he knows now, but he learned it his own way. I was peaceful now. Calm, knowing that we have to take our own way and THAT is how it supposed to be.
What's all this? It is one of my dreams. I posted it here cause few days ago me and my friend that broke up with her guy asked me: how to be in peace with it? Some advices popped up in my head, but then I told her about this dream I had, something switched in her mind. I had it after my own break up. For a month I had dreams of my ex, haunting me, every day. I was sick and tired of it. In my desire to be in peace with it, finally I had this very detailed, vivid dream. It needed small amount of decoding, but it was not hard. Everything was clear to me after it and the dreams of my ex disappeared. Sharing it here cause it just might help or give a thought to someone. btw sorry for the grammar and well the title should be "going back home" whatever 🙂
