Hippies .........

What's up with them? This term gets used for people who don't bathe or take care of themselves ... and I got to tell you, this is bullshit for the "Real Hippy".

Can anyone else in here relate to what I'm saying?

I grew up in those days .. the Real Hippy Days ... and we so did take a bath .. EVERYDAY. Bathed, brushed our teeth, combed our hair ... wtf?

Smoke, drop, snort, run .... but, still took care of hygiene.

lol, Moro .. if an explanation could apply to you, then they would have a long time ago.

Some people actually look for explanations .. while others look for excuses to use .. emotional maturity is in knowing the difference.

Maybe it's due to the stereotype of hippies looking unclean. It all falls into the whole free spirit thing where letting your locks flow and not shaving is seen as unkempt rather than a life style choice. And if it weren't for hippies/political activists some of the good things that came from the 60s and so forth wouldn't have happened. The simple answer is plain old ignorance.

Because half the people on here have the brain power of ants.

The only time I was ever high time took on a different feel. Everything went really, really slow. Colours kinda popped out and everything took on a more profound meaning. Things became VERY, VERY funny. The people I had got high with pre-party became a close community through the whole party.

What I didn't like about it was I felt so very stupid. I am use to being a really quick thinker. My thought process and the ability to speak slowed way down making me feel stupid.
