How long does it take for a man to miss a woman during a breakup?

My ex and I have been broke up for 7 months. I was numb for months and now I’m starting to wake up crying missing him and missing him during the day. Listening to songs that remind me of him... I wonder if he is doing this too. All the anger and resentment I had for no. Is gone.. now I just remember all the good and miss him so much...

I’ve never understood why this would be a reason for breaking up, if both people love each other so much.
