Mental illness is an ongoing battle, even when made a priority. Weight gain can be as well. I’ve known quite a few people who, while they finally found the meds to best treat their mental state, caused weight gain and/or sexual side effects. Going to the gym can help both things you mentioned, but some people are going to struggle regardless.
I can't, and not simply for the obvious superficial reasons. Yes, fit women are generally going to be physically more attractive to me. That being said, the amount of time I spend with a significant other is...well significant. This means that more than likely her habits could become mine and vice versa. So I'd rather be with a woman who has healthy habits and has the discipline to stay fit. Her mindset will act as positive reinforcement to my own personal motivation to be healthy.
Ehhhhh it depends honestly. I ain't dating nobody obese because fuck that. But someone who has a little chub on them. I don't mind too much.

Can you date/marry/be with someone who just isn't making their physical/mental health a priority? I'm all for cheat days and skipping the gym or even the occasional gloomy mental day. but being unhealthy is just not cool. Not to say just because I don't do it, means you don't/can't do it.
I've dated light smokers/thc users and stuff, but addiction is my pet-peeve and being oblivious to your health both mentally and physically is another.
I don't see how people can be so "in love"... they are ok or content with it.
Light smoker / thc user = addiction? I always think of this movie scene 🙂

live and let live. instead of fussing, you could quietly remain dignified and find someone who suits your preferences, oh holy one, instead of bitching about what other adults choose to do. mind you, we are all different. oh, but that's too much like right. no one is forcing you to be with said person.

You have a belly
I do not! and I will show you!
Yea. I honesty don’t care about fluctuations. Time of year. Stress all that stuff. Just don’t be consistently detrimentally bad to yourself. I actually want to gain about 10 -15 lbs back until spring. Lay off exercise a bit and enjoy some bad food and drink. Celebrate holidays and birthday... You only live once!
Most women don’t care about abs anyway lol.

This is why I could NEVER be with a gym guy.. It seems like a lot of pressure. I think you guys are best matched with a woman who also takes her physical fitness seriously. I am naturally thin, so weight and fitness was never a big issue for me.. but I am so unhealthy and know how harshly I would be judged by people who are this into their fitness. I avoid gym goers like the plague.
I personally hate the gym. I really only do Something 2-3 times a week and won’t be doing anything more than an hour. I’ll just do push-ups, planks, and pull-ups at home... I really just try not to eat crappy 75% of the time.
Exercising doesn’t even burn enough calories to take it so serious. Unless you are trying to change your body muscle it’s mainly eating.

It's sometimes the gym guys that are the undercover Chubby chasers. TBh I've always been curvy and could always find a good man. I have never been thin and never had a problem finding a date. TBh I think some guys prefer the chubs. I also live in one of the most vein cities in the planet and still have no problem finding love. But I'm also picky. I kinda have an athletic build. @ 5'10.
I have found better men being chubby then when I was a little on the smaller side. The ones that liked me for what's inside always treated me better than the guys that preferred a certain body type. I have a pretty face tho so Im sure that alleviates....

I agree with you both.
You don’t need to go to the gym to be fit. You just need to be active. It’s mostly the food you eat.
For me is all about moderation. I like to be fit and healthy but I want to enjoy life. It’s a balance.
The same for my partner. I will found it very boring if you cannot enjoy things because it’s not good for you.
Saying that I have always been with natural fit guys but that they are never obsessed about it.
