Today just when i had finished breakfast at work i decided to see what's new on DXP and i found a thread about Mars and Venus placements. I was going to post there but i realized i was going out of that topic so i decided to make a new one.

From what i have read so far about planets, Mars/Venus reflects the kind of man/woman we are likely to be attracted to. However, what we really need in a relationship "depends" of our natal Moon. There's no use in being attracted to someone if your needs are going to be neglected when things get "deeper".

I don't like very much the way my Moon is aspected but i guess my trine to the Moon would help lots. I wonder what it is like to people who have Mars/Venus conj Moon? I'm also curious about the square and the trine.

Please share your experiences here. Thanks in advance and have a nice day!

meant to say in my OP post was "I don't like very much the way my Venus is aspected but i guess my trine to the Moon would help lots."

My Venus is in Cap and is conj my Saturn. Not very nice at first sight... but since my Moon is in Virgo everything Saturn dictates seems more "natural" to me. The real problem is when Neptune comes into play... :/

Neptune seems to decide men for me....which is nowhere near my venus, mars or moon.

Mars square Neptune, maybe?

Damm I am so into threads like these but dont understand what the heck it all means & where my placements are. I really want to so much. I noticed I gravitate toward leo, big time to Aqua & fascinated by aries...seem to consistently strongly repel virgo.

Many serious astrologers recommend making a chart at astro.com and read the descriptions they give. They are not the best but they are easier to understand. When you are done you could try this site:

http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/TOClessons.htm<BR>
It's a very informative site where you can learn the basics in how to read a natal chart.

Reading a chart takes some time, especially for me since i'm just a beginner. Tomorrow i have lots of free time so i think i could give you a hand, at least.

So don't be sad 😄

I get lost with the whole "conjunct...trine..square" thing. But my Moon is in Libra..and my Venus is in Leo. My Mars is also in Leo. How would I mesh with a man whose Moon is in Cap...Venus is in Leo...and Mars is in Libra.

If the odds are bad...you should know that I don't care. But tell me anyways..k? =)

"The angular separation between two bodies, measured along a great circle, is termed Aspect."

"In astrology, an aspect is an angle the planets make to each other in the horoscope, and also to the ascendant, midheaven, descendant, lower midheaven, and other points of astrological interest."

Conjunct (0??), sextile (60??), square(90??), trine (120??) and opposition (180??) are considered major aspects. For example, 15?? Sun in Taurus is square 15?? Moon in Leo. 5?? Mercury in Gemini is trine 5?? Saturn in Libra. And so on.

"It is important to note that different astrologers and separate astrological systems/traditional utilize differing orbs (the degree of separation between exactitude) when calculating and using the aspects"

Most aspects in a chart are not exact. However that's not a reason to completely overlook them (especially major ones). That's why we use Orbs. Astrologers use different orbs depending of the aspect. For example, you can see most astrologers using an Orb of 8-10 degrees when looking for conjunctions. That's why 0?? Capricorn Sun is considered to be conjunct 8?? degrees Capricorn Moon even if the conjunction is not exact. The orb tends to be wider when the aspect is stronger/more stressful. Sextile and trine are considered to be "easy" but since they are not as "intense" as a square or a conjunction, the orb tends to be smaller. Also the orb tend to be wider when the luminaries (Sun, Moon) are involved.

Here's a good article about aspects:
