-Still sprung on another woman (emotionally, physically & sexually attached)
-Not your "type" or considered attractive (physically, mentally, sexually, spiritually, etc.)
-Still attached to mama's umbilical cord (not ready to grow up)
-Broke & don't mind living off of others (i.e. moochers, users & NON-providers)
-ARE single, but have too many kids that any single woman is most likely NOT willing to put up with
-Dead beat dads
-Porn, drug or crime addicts
-Have a criminal record longer than their credit report
-Have rather small slingers! =P
-Are walking stds
-Are abusive/manipulative (physically, sexually, emotionally, psychologically, verbally, etc.)
-Claim they're "ready" or are "looking for love" but actually aren't ready or looking for anything past FWB
-Don't want YOU (for whatever reason)

Steve Harvey came up with this list back in 2009 when talking on air to Wendy Williams about why so many single women have the RIGHT to complain on why they can't find a "good" or "decent" man these days. (Just wanted you to know that I didn't personally come up with this list).
SO!....With that being said, DAMN! If this is true of most men of ALL races, ages & circumstances, then the single women out there who are trying to find a "good man" are F'd!!!!
You talk like humans should be perfect.. Life is a learning journey.. bagges are picked up on the way. You speak as if you are an infallible, perfect person with none of that.. which is obviously, a big stretch. Can you even fulfill 1/6 of what you say?

I pointed that out for a reason so why some of you are insinuating that me creating this post is somehow making men seem like pigs & women seem like angels is beyond me. There are plenty of "lists" about women, but guess what? This post wasn't about women, it was about single men. Quote me once when I said that women weren't accused of some of the same things that were posted on this list....(waiting)

Well putting both sexes makes it more debatable/fair, and it was only spica who posed a question relating to the points initially made being yours, although to some degree you must agree with some of the sentiments surely ?
That's like me badgering a woman for complaining about her cheating boyfriend for not adding in every other line that "women cheat too." Unless a person specifically says, "By the way, I think women do NOT apply to what I'm saying," there's really no point in assuming that the poster of the topic doesn't feel that way. It's simple, some topics are geered toward mostly men while others talk about women more specifically & closely.
Had I came out & claimed that men were the ONLY 1s who applied to this list, that'd be different. Give me some credit here. I completely get that women can be just as big of scumbags, but that's besides the point. We were discussing MEN, not women.

Hey that's your opinion. He's def. NOT perfect. That's exactly why he wrote 2 books, in which most of the men & women reading them agreed. Most of the authors who write relationship books have shady pasts & lots of "baggage." They write these books not b/c they think they're holier than thou but b/c people only want to listen to someone who is experienced and/or who has personally gone through some of the very things the audience has. All that matters is that most of his "advice" comes from lessons he's personally learned AND from data he's taken from every day real people. So if what he's saying is bull, then 99% of the people responding to his surveys & questions were lying. If that's the case, the people responding are probably bigger douchebags than he is!

I dont think single women are anymore 'screwed' today than they were 20, 30, years ago. Men will be men, and women will be women. Both parties have more game now than ever, I will say that. And it may be tougher to weed through the bullshit these days OF BOTH PARTIES. Men can make this same kind of list. Its about finding the best fit for YOU. Marriage is no guarantee of eternal bliss and certainly does not come w/o its own hardships.
Definitely my philosophy.
I think women are actually less screwed today then they were way back in the day. Women in their 40's today are riding high on that cougar train!

Well, this list made me angry when I read it. Perhaps because the author didn't allow _any_ redeemable points - AKA he's got everything covered. Also, maaaaybe because it's true. But come on, being single isn't so bad.
Imagine being with a perfect person.. now that would be like a rerun of Stepford wives (or husbands). And Steve Harvey did wipe out >90% of the population with that list (funny notwithstanding).. now what is worse than that? Having someone who fits the list as your hubby.

I think you are wrong, Star and so is this list .....
Just because a guy is single doesnt' mean he has one of those ^^^^^ .. he can be single, simply because he chooses to fly solo and he doesn't have to have any reason for it other than this is what he wants to do.
It seems that women cannot handle this and have to have a label on it that makes the suggestion that a man is fucked up if he wants to have his own life.

Guys listen, I'm not here to put Steve Harvey on a pedistool. But I will give the man some credit. Not only b/c I've experienced some of the things he's mentioned over the years, but b/c he's saying some of the very same things other "relationship experts" say. What Steve Harvey said wasn't rocket science: Ladies know your worth. Don't be mad if you're single b/c there are ALOT of good guys out there, BUT don't be so upset either when every frog doesn't turn into a prince. BAM.
