no worries

I have no issues

I just have a hard time trusting / opening up to women

because my mom wasn't really around much

/ criticized me often.

it benefitted me in that I try harder.

the negative is that I am attracted to women who may have similar characteristics ( e.g manipulative, adrift ) as my less than perfect mom

Seriously though, Moon Square Venus in men is the "Madonna (Moon)/Whore (Venus)" complex. I gave it alot of thought as I was attracting these men. To successfully have these men truly fall for you, you are the women that symbolizes this paradox.

For example, I look young, pure, innocent, clean and motherly (large breast, petite, traditional appearance). I'm a Capricorn Ascendant but, with Venus in the 1st house, Venus dominate.

So, past this, my Ascendent which is demure, conservative presences, I am quite uninhibited sexually. Venus forms a trine aspects with almost every planet in my chart.

Men who I have attracted also tell me this about myself. My husband said, "I looked untouched." And, no matter what I tell them of my many escapades, they still see me as an innocent, petite "baby girl." My day in the Secret Language of Birthdays is "The Day of Innocence." And, I'm an Aries born in the decan called "The Week of the Child."

What poses a problem for men with Moon Square Venus is sometimes meeting half of the paradox... the whore, no madonna; the madonna, no whore. So, it's s constant push/pull for women that don't fit the bill.

Now, we all know the popular "lady in the street, freak in the sheets" saying that's so popular but, these men mean it, may have actually invented it. There are alot of men that don't want the mother of their child performing unusual sexual acts, being their friend, confidant, nuturing, etc. They already have a loving mother. Moon Square Venus men are quite demanding this way. But, if you are naturally the idiation of madonna/whore, the fall so deep, they don't ever want to let you go.
