I think a few questions need to be answered first, in attempt to reach understanding of your current situation. You have to know where you're at emotionally. If you ask me, I think that you haven't physically cheated on your husband and him on his wife as of yet but you're well on your way there. Your recent actions are for a reason, so I think it's important that you analyze your current situation before anything, so that you know where you stand emotionally first, then you'll know what you should be doing next or not do next.

See the past is beautiful but only when it's understood and settled, the past is beautiful when it contributed to building you up to this point. The past is ugly when it contributes to break down your current status, it does so when it's not settled. The past shouldn't contribute in destroying your present and eventually your future. So my advice would be to come to term with your present situation inside first and in attempt to make sense of your life as a whole. So that your current status makes sense to you. Once understanding is reached, what you'll be doing next will make sense, whatever you choose to do.
