Sagittarius woman compatibility

Ok, so I'm (43) an educated Sag woman (Nov 26th). I have read that I am most compatible with Aries men and other Sags. I finally met an Aries man last month. Wow, I really was attracted to his energy and adventures since we both love the outdoors so much. However, I found him to be one of the most chauvanistic men that I have met. No, he is not educated, and he clearly felt the need to feel superior and he debased me and had no interest in me other than sex.

So...what gives? From what I have read about compatibility, Aries and Sag men won't have anything to do with a woman with a doctorate.

That's not true. I have friends who are highly educated married to Aries and Sag men. They have no problem with education as a matter of fact Aries especially will not hang around long with a woman who has nothing between her ears other than air. Aries men are very honest and if he only wanted sex he will have no problem telling you this.

One of the biggest misconceptions is that Fire signs go well with other Fire signs.... Ive found this to not be true.... maybe in friendship but not in the romantic department anyway.

Maturity level plays a part.

People can be educated, they can have the intellect, etc.

If someone doesn't understand another on a maturity level, it will never work.. no matter how compatible they are on other levels, like education or intellect.

Well, he is definitely Aries, and he obviously only wanted sex because when I said I didn't do casual sex on the the second date, he said he did not either, but then ghosted...and that was the last thing he said.

That can be one aspect. Moreso maybe how they carry themselves, what they think, the ideas they have.. how you carry yourself maybe is what I was trying to say?

Someone more concerned with physical aspects may come across less mature, vice versa.

I'm just going off my first thoughts here (hi Sag Mercury)..lol

I've never had bad experiences with fellow Fire signs, but I'm sun/moon/merc so maybe that's why...it's easy for me.

I'm rambling now lol 🙃

Examples like what? If you're more specific, I may be able to be more specific as well.. unless my answer was fine enough.

Sag does better with Libra or Leo. IMO.

I was thinking Gemini.

I think it's more important to connect on an emotional level especially with Aries. You have to capture their emotions to have a chance and staying power.
