Should Fire Signs Stick With Fire Signs?

I am a sag (fire) and hubby is a cap (earth) We have had many struggles with intimacy and our relationship in general.

Now, we are separated, for the third time. It seems that this is the end for sure.

I have a new friend who recently said that fire and earth signs are not compatable.

Does anyone else out there have an opinion on this?

Hi! I don't think you need stick with "only" fire signs...but I do know that us Air signs usually have more difficulty with Earth and Water signs...though some more than others...for me the worst are Taurus (Earth) men and Cancer and Scorpio (both Water) men...
I usually get along well with Fire signs, as well as Air signs...
They say that Air fuels Fire which can be a good thing...I suppose it could also be volatile??

I thought about the physical effects that air has with fire. Scary! But exciting! You mentioned volatile!

Just thought I would share this....

I am in a very intensely wonderful relationship with another fire. Very, very warm. It is the best I have ever had.
I definately have found that fire signs are veeerrryyy compatible. To say the least. We have the same passions, thoughts, needs, desires etc... Life with this Aries man has been an exhilerating breath of fresh air.

I feel free, freer than I ever have. He is easy to love.

I aslo don't think fire signs should stick with fire signs. I am a Sagittarus (fire) and my wife is an Aquarius! I feel I am more compatible with her than I am with Leo or Aries (no offense)! To tell the truth, all fire signs are compatible with all air signs (some better than other)! It is like this:
Saggitarus-Aquarius
Aries-Gemini
Leo-Libra
The same also applies for earth and water signs:
Taurus-Cancer
Virgo-Scorpio
Capricorn-Picies

Virgos are fanatical about perfectionism. You may not be able to handle it living under the same roof. Stick with Fire Signs - you'll do better with Aries or Leo.
