The only way to make sure he's not playing you is to keep your heart and feelings out of it.

to make a long story I was in a soff and on again relationship for 2 in an half years.he treated me bad never called or gave a dam about were i was or who I was with.finally I gave up and left, I stop calling him.
For what ever reason he started calling me ever 10 to 20 minutes for 3 to 4 days .
I would not answer.finally when I did he called me ever filthy disgusting name and told me to never call again,and if I did he get a retraining order.
It confused me because 1, he wouldn't let me answer any question and 2,I thought this is what he wanted.
