Should we NOT use vibrators?

I heard this yesterday: "Women shouldn't use vibrators b/c if they do, they'll never feel the same about oral sex again. There's nothing comparable to the power of vibrators! Before you started using them, you thought your man was the best at pleasing you orally, but afterwards? Nope, he's probably just 'ok' or mediocre now."

I shrugged this off at 1st, but then I really got ta thinking!

I must admit, I have a vibrator & after I started using it on my "off days," getting head from my husband didn't seem to be as great as it used to be. But I don't think that my husband's skill level changed. No, moreso that once you've felt the power of a vibrator, every guy afterwards must meet that same expectation, almost as if your cooch builds up a high tolerance!

I heard the same about Ecstasy pills (trust me, I've NEVER taken them, nor do I ever want to). Once you take ecstasy, you have the greatest sex of your life! Only 1 problem? Sex will never feel the same or ever be that GREAT again. Guys that used to rock your world before you took those pills are now suddenly "just ok in bed" afterwards! CRAZY!!!

Haha I figured that men aren't too thrilled when they see vibrators. My husband once told me, "Seeing your vibrator is like seeing the competition. Lucky for you, I'm always down for a little competition!" Instead of my husband being upset or being intimidated by my vibrator, he instead allows it to be incentive for him to "outdo" it! hahahaha! Love that guy!

I agree, sex is much better sober & with someone you care for, regardless. Though there is a reason people take ecstacy. And I'm seriously doubting that someone who takes drugs is really "all there" mentally in the moment to even realize that they're having amazing sex with someone that usually sucks or is just "ok." Hahaha!

I'm just going to stop reading after the title and put a big, resounding "FUCK. NO."

No one is coming in between my personal pleasure. I mean, even before I had vibrators I was using my fingers, and I was still the one person who knew most of the angles of my body, how to get myself off, ect. So even if I didn't have a vibrator, a guy was going to have to know how to get me off on his own and with my help since I was already pretty good at it. Fuck, I'll use a vibrator while I'm having a sex with a guy (I haven't yet, but I would).

If the guy doesn't feel good enough, that's because either he isn't great or we're not just clicking somewhere. I mean, I'm not going to think about my vibrator while I'm having sex with a guy. I'm having sex with that person because I want to, and I'm not going to focus on the orgasm. That should happen along the way (I mean, I'll even admit I'm not the easiest one to get off on vaginal sex alone). With vibrators, I've even better understood my body and know what to do next time I have sex. So, my vibrators will stay with me and will continue to be used.

Oh, and sometimes I'm too lazy to even use them so really, they aren't such a big deal in my everyday sex life.

Oh you should! It's almost like having a 3-some! It's awesome to see both "men" (and yes, I consider my vibrator to be a man--hell I even named him Georgio!) compete! I think most men naturally have a competitive drive in them; doesn't mean they're insecure, but moreso that they actually like being the best and/or putting in the work to atleast be in the top 5 =)

Haha I tried using my vibrator on my husband once! He thought I wanted to "poke" him! But really, I just wanted to give him oral sex while the vibrator was sitting under my jaw! When I finally got his defenses down, I was all smiles....yep, he went on to say that that was the best head I'd ever given him! My response? "See, 2 heads really ARE better than 1" (evil smile)

Use the vibrator in moderation and try to use it on the lowest setting. The vibration causes de-sensitization after prolonged and regular use. Maybe switch it up by just using your fingers sometimes.

I agree with this but then again, I agree that it's all mental.

The proof though is in your vibrator settings. If you're not using "level 10" on your vibrator that you've had for 6 months, when yet you originally only set it to level 4 & got off just as well, that's an indication that your cooch is becoming de-sentitized to it. The more & more you use it, the more you have to keep turning up the speed just to get the very same pleasure you got out of it when you 1st started using it. This is kind of proof that pro-longed use def. can affect your sex life OR atleast what you perceive to be "good" sex or head

Ok, let's get 1 thing straight! There's nothing wrong with using sex toys. Using them doesn't in any way imply that your partner isn't "good enough." It's just a freakin toy! I mean, that's like getting mad at your finger for being such a good mastubator lol

It's 1 thing to not use sex toys but hating on them is just crazy! They actually DO work! For some people, their toys may work a little better than some of their partners, while for others it's just a substitute when their partners aren't there

My GF has a vibrator which she sometimes uses during sex. As a variation I find it a turn-on, but if she used it all of the time I'd start to worry that she was compensating for something. Fortunately, that's not the case. I've heard many times that the quickest way to orgasm for a woman is with a vibrator, however, she gets off in five to ten minutes with a vibrator or just 30 seconds to two minutes when I use my tongue!
