Should we rely on astrology to find a serious partner?

Based on my personal experience, I don't know if I should consider a person's zodiac sign in relationships.

I'm getting divorced and when I met my husband I read that our signs were not compatible. He seemed cool so I went ahead and started dating him. I thought: "Astrology is fake I don't think it should matter".

I ended up marrying him!!! At the beginning everything seemed okay but after I noticed big differences between us, I didn't feel happy and now we're divorcing 😢

I really don't want to make the same mistake in the future and I'm wondering if I should consider a person's sign next time.

But it's embarassing to ask people their sign. They might think I'm crazy or something but I somehow believe in it. But personality wise, not the daily horoscopes.

Can you tell me your experiences? Do you think this should matter and does it make a relationship more successful?

I use Astrology as a guide on how to communicate with people better. Understanding that their personality may be more "geared" to be a certain way. Their chart isn't an indication of who they are, but how they may react during a conversation.

I do not, and will not use it to determine my romantic interest in them. That's stupid. A person, is more than their chart.

As interesting as a persons zodiac sign is; their sign doesnt define them it only attempts to describe them. Deciding to not date someone or get involved with them due to their sign being "incompatible" would be like someone saying that all people named Sherry are bitches or poor people are uneducated. As it is society uses labels to separate people into individual groups and categories and look what that has done to our country. For example a person political status. Being a Democrat or Republican does not determine or dictate if u are an honest, fair, trustworthy, reliable, kind, respectful, considerate, well mannered, hard working person. We all share the same traits and possess the capabilities to act on them. Granted some traits may dominate over others but most behaviors are learned. Put anyone in the right situation and that person can be retaught. Basically, and please take no offense to this because i mean u no disrespect, but what ur promoting is just another form of discrimination. Dont get me wrong, knowledge is power but what u do with it and how u use it is up to u.

Yess! I’ve dated all around the zodiac and I believe compatibility with regards to the zodiac is usually spot on for me. I don’t come out and ask them on the first date but if there’s chemistry and all that I like to ask them when their birthdays is, just casually. I know all the dates in my head pretty much or close to so I’ll say ā€œoh you’re a XYZā€ and if they tell me they’re a clingy Cancer, a wishy-washy Libra, an all too-mental Aquarius, a finicky Pisces, or a Dr. jeckle & hyde Gemini or amy-shit-don’t-stink Virgo.. I’m out!

Of course there’s exceptions to every rule since other ruling planets can play a role. But after about three dates, yeah my suspicions are always almost confirmed.

I think aspects in synastry tend to play out and are worth considering, once you're seeing someone more than casually.

Hon, do you really see someone loves someone and considering to un-love them seeing a chart?

You obviously a pro in astrology but considering human factor...is it ever been done? Like...I love you but I am leaving you because your placements are all over and mine are all over as well...so...bye Charlie?

I don’t think people are that smart!

lol
