This interesting thought provoked me through something that was posted on the cap board recently. I'd like to know what you think about it.
To my way of thinking in romantic relationships, I find it very hard to believe someone really loves you until you have their trust. In today's society, it appears love and trust are separate. But how could they be in the most intimate of relationships? Trust appears to be more precious, more of an anchor than love. It's like Love is given "loosey-goosey", but trust is hard-earned. Didn't pre-nups came about in large part due to the trust issue, and not the love issue? But shouldn't both be understood as "one"? Should you tell someone you love them before you can say I trust you? Can you really love someone you don't trust?
