She doesn't speak fluent English and has an accent to she shys away. She prefers to date in our group of people. BUT I think she should just get out there and find a good man no matter what race.
Here's the real problem: she doesn't know how to date!
She was 17 when, um, my dad... it makes me sad, but back it those days (not that my mom is that old or even looks that old) man were able to claim verginity. It was a traditional sort of thing. So, my father raped her. -_-
So she married him, had my older brother, faced allot of abuse, came to America, had me, more abuse not that it ever stoped, divorced, he asked her to take him back, she did, had my younger brother, and then one last divorce.
I don't think she's even had sex since. How could she? Three really young children, father a fucking basterd who didn't help financially at all, in a country so unfamiliar, work, work, work...
I understand why she wants to date someone Armenian, but... it's tough to find a decent Armenian man. Besides finding a man, the whole dating part...
My mom is beautiful. Depressed, but God, I'm so happy I got her genes because no matter how much we eat as long as we stay active we stay small and petite. But she's not good at the active part. We're both Sags' so it's hard for me to believe she's not active. But then again she's always wiped out from work anyway.
My brothers and I, we're grown up. 21, 19, 17; We're building our future. It's not fair for my mom to not have some happiness of her own.
I don't go out myself so I wouldn't know how to take her out. You know, dress up, go to social events... New area, need new friends :S
What should I do?
