everyone does it these days. I'm not one to put x's to anyone but some people get really offended by it. I've had people asking me if i am mad at them for no apparent reason then I realised it was because they put x's and i didnt put them back!
I do it these days to people just to stop the confusion. Everyone just throwing out kisses to nayone is crazy to me! even guys do it too eachother—
I don't even get xx from my friends unless I haven't seen them in a while so I do find it odd that someone would do this to a virtual stranger! And I understand what you mean with greeting someone as I was always bought up to kiss on the cheek when meeting someone but really only close family/friends.

luvvies and daahhllings.😈
Really— After one meeting??
^True if someones xoxo ing you and you only xx back all hell could break loose! lol
I always end mine (can Eye F U)
I only 'xx' with friends, kiss on either cheek. Which I would do in person if I were there.
I END SOME OF MINE( ON MY MASSAGE RECLINER).
But I like over egging the pud. LOL
*brow raised* My, my Tate, the heart fair comes out of the chest with excitement at the romance of that statement.
Lol VB (:
😄
Yes. I do believe it is different wen a man sends xx at the end of a text to wen a woman does and also how many they send. I get 2 and sometimes a big and small lmao.
I hate kissing anyone who is not my boyfriend. Family included. I've faked more illnesses to avoid kissing my family members on holidays. Now I just avoid holidays all together. 😄
I've only gotten 'xx' from my friend in England. He's sweet like that. Though, I've never returned it with any x's or o's and we still get along nicely. 😉
We're all Mad in this here, it's our escapism from the other place!
Hmm have never had anyone do that to me in a text. This is common for people??
Must be cultural.
I know what it means lol I've just never had anyone use it in text. Sounds like it a trend that myself and my friends aren't up on yet.....thankfully.
I've gotten it mostly in emails...and instant messages.
I do it in handwritten letters, or when I'm signing greeting cards, but that's about it really.

It's different though, you're a woman.🙂
Thanks for noticing. 🙂
One of my friends sometimes just puts one x at other times it's xx or xxx and so on.
I have no idea what difference it makes - don't read too much into it to be honest. 😛
My favourite though is texting a loved one and when they withold a x as it's so obviously a case of "I am not happy with you" haha.
OMG, that would be awesome. A person who normally sends xx suddenly sends just an x and the recipient gets all up in their grill crying "Are you mad at me?!? Why are you mad at me?!? Please don't be mad at me!"
Next thing you know we'll be seeing threads titled...
"My bf subtracted an x! What does that mean? Is it over?"
LOL!!!! ^^
